Dr. Cheryl Mensah, MD

She is like an investigator. Anything you tell her about your health, history, family: she'll question thoroughly to help find answers to your health issues. She is amazing.

Dr. Mensah is my first Hematologist, she is compassionate and caring. I was very afraid of being diagnosed with a blood cancer, Dr. Mensah relaxed me through all of my lab test; over the years. She also preformed a bone marrow test to rule out any blood cancers. By the grace of GOD all my test were negative for any type of blood cancer. Dr. Mensah is an excellent Hematologist.

My experience with Dr. Mensah has been nothing less than amazing. She is patient and caring. Not only does she actually listens to your concerns but she’s quick to respond with action steps to manage your health. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Mensah is very knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. She is very receptive to answering questions and concerns and is patient and understanding. She is very professional and also very kind and personable, putting you at ease . I highly recommend her.

This was my first visit with any hematologist, so a considerable amount of information had to be discussed. Dr. Mensah did all that and more, providing clear answers to my many questions, along with an ideal “bedside” manner as someone who truly listens and explains, thereby turning anxiety into confidence.

Excellent! She was very thorough and asked thoughtful questions about my possible propensity to blood clots, following one I had last Summer. She took further bloodwork and determined I shoould see her in a follow-up visit in three months. I trust her to help me with whatever is needed to make sure everything is going (and flowing) right. HIghly recommended!

Dr. Mensah was wonderful. She made me feel comfortable and spoke with me with such care and passion.

You keep bombarding me with emails and texts to rate my experience but no one has contacted me about my health results. Dr Mensah had said that the blood work results would come the next day and she would call me. A week has passed and all you care about is the rating. The doctor seemed very unsure about what she would do about my case. Sometimes she - and her assistant- were even asking me what I thought they should do. I made the appointments months ago, but because I was worried, in the meantime I visited other doctors outside your hospital who seemed to be able to advice me correctly. The reason I kept my appointment was because almost all my doctors are at this hospital and I wanted the hospital to have my blood work records. While at the front desk, I was asked to complete several pages of my medical history, which Dr. Mensah and her assistant, not only didn’t look at, but also forgot it on the table and I had to chase them to give it to them so the next patient would

First of all Dr. Cheryl showed a lot of good knowledge , seconds she spends the time with her patient and listening to the patient !!! I will recommend this doctor to the whole world

I’m very impressed with the service and treatment by Dr. Mensah and her entire STAFF they are no#1. From the moment I approached the front desk to all the time Dr. Mensah gave me. The doctors PA was doing her detailed assessment above and beyond the normal standards. I was Very impressed! Back to Doctor Mensah always spends as much time with patient as the patient issue or understand needs. She has a strong dedication to each and every patient. Never in a rush to go to next patient. Always listen a 100% to her patient talk. Thinks before she treats is this the best for the patient. Dr. Mensah has 3 board certification on 3 different specialty’s. All come in very good use for difficult medical patient issues.

She is such a pleasure to be around. Very well informed and truly takes the time out of her day to go in depth with you about any diagnosis. She had a very pleasant & welcoming spirit, and was even understanding when I was late! Her attitude and attention to detail pertaining to my health never changed bc of it! You can tell she truly cares about what she does. And it is most definitely appreciated. I’m glad she’s my doctor, I know I’m in safe hands.
