Dr. Cheryl Burack, MD

I am leaving this practice after over 15 years of mostly unsatisfactory care. Long wait times described here are real, as is a real rush to finish a visit - I felt like she flew in and out of the examining room. Some of the staff/nurses have abrupt and unfriendly demeanors with patients. But I am leaving because the office does not seem to be competent nor caring regarding menopausal care. I was treated like an addict looking for a fix when I inquired about HRT, and then was told I would 'probably' have a stroke or a blood clot if I 'insisted' on getting an estrogen patch. She does not appear to be informed about the literature on the treatment of menopause.

She understands how my body is because she was the doctor who delivered me . I was there may 25 for my annual exam and she listened to everything I asked her and said.she had to do my pelvic exam and told me everything she was doing and had the nurse hold my hand for the exam I would not go to any other obgyn office except her

Dr Burack is an amazing doctor. She cares about each and every patient. She asks many questions and she insures all your questions and concerns are addressed. I highly recommend Dr Burack

I would not see any other gyn doctor. I have been going to her for years and she always makes me feel so comfortable. She is very caring I will recommend her to anyone

The average wait time (with an appointment) is 1.5 hours and then you feel rushed once she meets with you. You can hear everything being said in the next room. Dr. Burack also didn't seem to be familiar with my history. I'm currently seeking a new provider.

I would Travel hours just to have her as my Dr. amazing caring I would not trust anyone else .

The doctor and office staff were friendly, I went in for my yearly exam only. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my morning appointment, and ended up meeting the doctor about 45 minutes after my appointment time.

Abrupt and appears to be in a rush, like my case doesn't matter. Never knew who I was or anything about me. Come on just read the chart I shouldn't have to repeat myself every visit. Verifying is one thing but acting as if this is all news to her was so frustrating when I had given records and gone over everything multiple times with both doctors.
