Dr. Cherie Passano, MD

Dr.Passano delivered my child. The Practice was phenomenal at the time Fast forward I took my 16 year old there with pelvic issues. She was very dismissive and actually rude to me. Fast forward my daughter is getting good care at NYU Langone ever since. Shame we have to drive to Manhattan to get respectful proper care. Positive note, my daughter learned you have to be heard about your health. And not to accept someone dismissing your issues.

I had been a patient of Dr. Passano’s since I was 18, along with my mother before me. I trusted and admired her. When I became pregnant with my first child I had to switch my OBGYN due to where I worked and the nearest, most convenient hospital to deliver and have appointments at. One weekend when I was having a medical emergency, I called Dr. Passano”s office asking for help. I never received a call back and a few days later received a letter saying I was formally discharged from the practice. When I called to question what was going on, they never let me speak to her and said because I seeked care elsewhere I was no longer her patient nor could I see anyone else in the practice. I was shocked. She never knew my situation or emergency and has made it impossible to return to the practice. How inhumane, insensitive and unspeakable of an action to do as a caring professional. I will never recommend this practice to anyone.

She is my favorite doctor of all specialties. She's very friendly, personable, makes you feel at ease and always looks out for your best interest. She takes her time with you, is extremely knowledgeable and discusses everything in a manner that is easy to understand.

Was bleeding early in my pregnancy and went to the ER. Her colleague was on call and advised me to follow up with her. Too busy to fit me in! Left the practice for a competent board-certified physician.
