Awful surgeon
He performed an ACL repair on my knee and he had no idea what he was doing. Had to have a hardware removal surgery because of an infection with the hardware he used. Additionally he recommend cadaver for the ACL replacement which at the time I was a young athlete and it was awful advice as it never fully healed properly and left me with a limp until it tore again. Better off amputation then him.

Dr Hayes was very professional and kind and compassionate. He presented the facts in a detailed and accurate manner. Spent a lot of time explaining options. Did not push for procedures or surgery.

Amazing is the only word to describe Dr. Hayes and his staff. He has cared for me in a few situations over 2.5 years and his knowledge blows me away. His goal is to help heal not prolong your relationship with his office. He cared for my knee as if I were a relative. At least that is how I felt. He explained every detail in terms I could understand. Ultimately everything he recommended worked. One injury resulted in surgery. His stitching left barely visible scars. People are amazed when they see. Dr. Hayes could be a seamstress when he retires. Should I have a future injury, no question where I'm going... Dr. Chason Hayes!

Dr. Hayes has done 5 scope surgeries on me with no complaints. His bed side manner has gotten better since December 2003 to 10-2-19. My only complaint he will not give any pain meds no longer than 5 days after surgery. When I saw him 7 days after my surgery he would not give me any kind of pain meds only physical therapy he said take his favorite Meloxicam the cure for all pain. Ever since the drug addicts screwed it up for us normal people we have to suffer. Because of Drug addicts we all have to suffer.

I went to see Dr. Hayes for a second opinion after visiting the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Ortho Carolina. He is the only doctor that ive seen for my shoulder surgery that made eye contact and treated me like a human, not a number! The others stare at a computer screen and collect money. As a Veteran I am very pleased with him and his staff. Very professional in all aspects. I look forward to seeing him in the future for my Orthopedic needs.

Did heel surgery on my brother. Became horribly infected and he had to be sent uptown to CMC Main for emergent reconstructive surgery. His heel now is the size of an orange and deformed!!. Also prescribed him well over two years worth of OxyContin despite family informing him of misuse and addiction. Lead to heroin addiction.. Emergency surgery on shoulder as he was the "only doc on call". Discharged my brother with a PICC despite h/o addiction. Relapsed and used it to shoot up. BEWARE!!!!!

Awful he misdiagnosed me, sent me for therapy that made my condition worse!!! Charged me a fortune for his time and will not give a refund even though he got it very very wrong, because of him I will need surgery that could have been avoided. Very bad decision by me to see him, should have read reviews do not make the same mistake I did.

This doctor is dangerous. Books too many surgeries in a day, is curt with patients and co-workers and has been fined for over billing for stuff he did not do. And his post operative infections rates are horrible. Run don't walk away from this guy.

I had open carpal tunnel release surgery with Dr. Hayes. (minimal invasive) procedure on 12-5-2016. I was very pleased with the process of my results. I am able to move my fingers no tingling in my right hand, still in healing process, Based on how my hand was before my surgery I was scared that I would experience the same symptoms. Big Improvement. Looking forward to 100%. I trusted him and I'm glad my feeling was right. Many Thanks go out to Dr. Hayes. This was my 1st surgery.Felt comfortable

The staff is HORRIBLE. Obviously this office is only about money. I have wonderful insurance and when the office manager told my husband his co-pay was WAY more than it should have been and he only wanted to pay what he knew it was, they refused to see him. He has 16 screws and two plates and is afraid one of his screws popped. We just moved to NC and he needed to be seen right away. I guess people are no longer in this profession to help the injured. Very sad.

Loooong wait...Was sent to see him for a second opinion. It was after I left his office that I came to the conclusion he wasn't qualified to make any opinions on the condition of my foot. His examination of my foot was too short and lack professionalism. His pretense to understanding what RSD is and now to spot and treat it was alarming. His opinion will/may be damaging to any future treatment.

It was very frustrating to make an appointment. The scheduling staff is not friendly, nor helpful. It took me almost 60 minutes and had to engage my insurance to make the appointment. At the end, I was not sure it was worthwhile the effort. Never had this experience before in other clinics.

Went to Dr Hayes with back hip leg and foot pain so bad I could not work! He farted around giving me shots in my spine for six months the hole time I was telling him they did very little to help with the pain! And after six months short term disability ran out and so did my insurance! I have not had the money to get anything else done since April 2015 but some how he says I'm capable of boing heavy work! The pain is unbearable sometimes but he don't care! Quack!!!
