Hi All and Happy Friday ! I have been wanting to write this for some time now but I wanted to give myself room to process the enormous loss of my father in November 2024 . I am writing this for informational purposes only and I can only speak to my own experience and what an experience it was. The Davita on Sandy plains , if you dont know, is for Hemodiaylsis(process of filtering the kidneys) so you must visit the facility 3 times a week like my dad did. I say 'We ' because I was his caretaker for nearly 5 years. The experience is very overwhelming to learn all of the do's and donts but my dad did it and pushed himself every single day like many so many do . Aside from 'treatment' their is an emotional and physical toll that it takes on the patient on so many different levels that its imperative that communication between staff and patient is readily available . Too many incidents to list that were subpar but we always notified staff and nothing ever really got resolved . They

She is an excellent doctor and she delivers the best care for each patient. Her delivery may be a little rough sometime but keep in mind that in many cases she is delivering news that is changing your life forever. She happens to be serious and direct in her delivery. Perhaps she delivers the news in this manner so that the patient realizes the seriousness of THEIR health condition has become. I have been her patient somewhere between 10-15 years. She is a great Dr. to care for your kidneys.
