Dr. Woolums is a great doctor. I recommend him to my friends and family. Great staff. Clean office

Dr. Woolums does not work in Huntington, WV. He has worked in Southern Ohio for the last few years. I’m not sure where this site gets their information. I’ve also seen positive reviews of him here that have been removed. Sounds suspect. Anyway, my husband and I love Dr. Woolums! So thankful he came to Portsmouth. We needed a good urologist but we got the best!

He is a fantastic doctor. He helped with my urinary issues. We had to go through so many combinations until it finally worked. Him and his whole office are so wonderful!!

Dr. Woolums is a caring and knowledgeable physician. He made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. I know that I received the best care possible. He is up to date on the latest surgeries and treatment options. I will never see a different urologist.

He is kind and compassionate. He really cares about his patients.

If you love your loved ones, do not let them be treated by this Dr. When first diagnosed he let her lay in the hospital for a couple of days in extreme pain, cause she had severe UTI and find out she has bladder cancer. We had to call him personally to demand he get to the hospital to help my mother cause she was hurting so bad. He did surgery on her 2 times to supposedly to remove the cancer and all he would say was "I got it all". My mother was sent to a cancer Dr by her primary Dr cause her issues never gotten better, now we find out he let her cancer spread, now she is in stage 4 and has to go thru chemo to prolong her life. This Dr. is the worst Dr to be treated by.

If you enjoy being talked down to, your issues minimized, and not being made a priority, he's your guy. I sat in the e.r. In horrible pain waiting for a decision of when he could make time to address my kidney stone. After six years with him, I'm done.

I found Dr Woodums to be friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy in his recommendions which I followed. Two other doctors gave me negative results yet I was suffering severe pain for months and knew there was a problem. Dr Woodums found and treated, so I would highly recommend him.

Rude,arrogant, uncaring and doesn't admit when he is wrong. Let my husband lay in pain and bleeding for 2 days before taking him back to surgery to correct his mistake.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Woolums and his staff. Very caring, professional and friendly. Kept me very well informed about procedures and expectations.

Dr. Woolums is the worst doctor to go too. He made fun of me to his staff. I could here every thing he said about me. Also he said I should have lazar surgery on my prostate. After I had it done. His staff made eyes at me behind my back. Dr woolums said he just needed to do his quota of doing a lazar surgery yet again to make him look great to his staff and his boss at the hospital. I don't see how he is still be working as a surgeon. Dr. Woolums destroyed my sex life. be careful.

He made fun of me after the surgery. He would talk about me in front of his staff ( and I could hear him). He is and still the worst Doctor and surgeon in the world. After my surgery. He and his so called hospital has destroyed my sex life and my marred life. It was to late and he should have told me in the first place I didn't need or should have not had the surgery done . He should be fired for what he did to me.
