Very Professional. Injections in hips for bursitis. Did not hurt. No long wait time!

Suffered for over a year. Cortisone shots to both shoulders yesterday. Painless today. Just now found out he is a Specialist in other areas l am suffering in. I will be back. He also takes care of my wife and Father-in-law.

Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional. I first had to see Dr. Winter's nurse practitioner, Rosie. She was very knowledgeable and helped get me in for more imaging. I had some MRI's then saw Dr. Winter's all within a few days. All my options were laid out on the table for me, and to my surprise and delight, he suggested that I allow my back to heal naturally using a back brace. If I still have unmanageable pain after the vertebrae are healed, we can talk about least invasive procedures then. I'm thankful to have found a doctor that didn't push surgery on me first.

Dr Winters & his team have been caring for me for quite some time to help with hip & knee problems. Everyone has been professional, friendly & helpful. I can say the same for all of the office staff personnel. I have bursitis in both hips & get injections periodically to help with the pain. It makes a world of difference for me! That was the reason for my most recent visit. I highly recommend him & Bienville Orthopedics.

The promptness of staff to help you and coordinate info and to get you into a room to be seen. Wait time for Dr was a little long due to an emergency he had to attend to but the Nurse Practitioner came in and fully went over everything I was there for, examined me and when arean of pain was found she made her suggestions for relief and administered med and thru out the time I left I was already feeling better. When I awoke the next day I was still feeling better. Thank you to all I had the pleasure of meeting, seeing and helping me. I will be sure to spread my heartfelt experience.

My appt with Dr. Winters was one of the worst I have ever had. I had to ask the nurse to ask him if he would speak to me before sending me for x-rays. After trying to explain my issue, in tears, he told me I needed to 'scrounge up' my previous x-rays and seek treatment from a cardio dr. He said there was nothing he could do to help, when I asked for at least a CT, he told me 'that only captures bone, same as an x-ray'. He refused even giving me direction or to listen, AND he then was completely deceitful in my visit summary, portraying me to be an irate patient, and completely fabricated even the 'advice' he provided for me. As I have tried, unsuccessfully, to at least be able to speak with someone, anyone, about this experience, I hope this is truly not faced by anyone else who may be simply trying to seek needed treatment.(I would give 0 stars if it were an option)

Have used Dr. Winters for many years concerning problems associated with my arthritic conditions and wouldn’t trust anyone else. He has performed a number of surgeries all with satisfactory results. I highly recommend Dr. Winters and his nursing staff!

Dr. Winters and staff are thorough in exams, and take time to understand the conditions. A treatment plan was immediately developed.

Dr. Winters and his staff are amazing. He takes the time to listen to you and wants to help. I have suffered from low back pain for 10 plus years. He is the only Dr that has taken the time to listen, and actually make steps to help me. I trust him and his staff.

Always a pleasure to see Dr. Winters and his staff. For this visit, I actually saw Dr. Martin who assessed the pain in my knees. After X-rays, it was determined that I would benefit from steroid injections in both knees. Very professional in preparing me for the injections and kept the mood light to calm my anxiety. After only 36 hours, I’m beginning to feel relief when standing and walking.

I have been seeing BIENVILLE since 2011! From Active duty injuries to new ones, this practice and Dr Winters have been very thorough, knowledgeable, and always professional. I would recommend them over and over again. It’s a very busy practice so have patience and wait for the best ortho care in MS!
