I shattered my ankle from a fall at work. I stayed in the hospital waiting for him to do emergency surgery for a day and a half. They had to keep rescheduling the surgery bc he kept delaying the surgery. Mind you I'm laying there in a bed with a shattered ankle that's dislocated also a broke back. After surgery he never came to see me or check on me or to answer questions. I finally see the man when I go for a check up and to place me in a cast, now during this time I had temporary insurance, so the day comes for the cast to come off my leg and he turns me away because my temporary insurance is up. So I leave the office in a cast that he put on me with no idea how I'm going to get it off my leg. I get half way back home and his office calls me to come back to get the cast took off, I live an hour from the office. So I go back he takes it off and is really rude about all my questions. I ask if I'm going to be able to walk without a limp or even run again. He answered back sarcastically.

Waited in exam room 80 minutes before Dr showed for an MRI follow up with no apology or explanation. Demonstrates an arrogant disregard for the patient's time which is equally valuable. Time is not valued by the amount or money you earn based on the letters behind your name, it's valued by the fact you only have so much and can't manufacture more.

Wait time is terrible. 1st visit waited 4 hours 2nd visit still waiting currently and it’s been over 2 hours. They need to be more sensitive to my time.

Dr. Wilburn always takes his time when I see him. He never seems rushed, no matter how many patients he has waiting. He will listen and answer every question I have. And explains things in a way I can understand. Always gives me options. I trust his opinion and knowledge. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

I had back pains for a long time and had two injections on WA and moved to TN started seeing Dr Wilburn in Jan of 2013 and had one injection it helped for a couple of months. We decided to do surgery and when I got out of the hospital bed I didn’t have and pain like I had before. Wore a back brace for about 3 months. If I over do it it hurts some but nothing like before. That was the best birthday present I had. This year he did arthroscopic surgery on my knee and it has helped tremendously.

He's done two surgeries for me, one knee and one elbow. I have had two knee surgeries done by someone else. After Dr. Wilburn did surgery on my knee I haven't had any problems since. He repaired my broken elbow and I'm doing great now. The fact that I didn't have to have physical therapy afterwards was a major plus. He listens and he explains everything to me. I would definitely recommend him.
