i had my first office visit with dr vollmer recently at the perelman center for a pancreas issue i found him to be knowledgeable who takes the time needed to listen to and answer any questions asked of him. he has a calming personality who explains his diagnosis and his plan of how to remedy the issue. in my opinion he is an asset to penn medicine.

Dr. Vollmer is a dedicated, thoughtful, and compassionate doctor. He listens and speak with a gentle voice, he acts with skill and wisdom. I am very blessed to have Dr. Vollmer as my doctor.

Dr Vollmer did my surgery this year and he really does care about his patients..This includes 6am visits to your bedside to see how you are doing. He knows what he's doing and has a wonderful staff!
