Absolute best!
Dr. Tatum delivered my two kids and has been my doctor up until his retirement. I am thankful to have had him as my doctor and is having the hardest time replacing him with another provider that is similar. Outstanding service given during every visit!

At the age of 50ish and former resident of Florence, SC, I'm yet to find another OB-GYN doctor to even compare to Dr. Tatum. I have lived in Asheville, NC, and currently live in Raleigh, NC. After trying many referrals and many OB-GYNs, I gave up. There is only one Dr. Charles Tatum, who in my opinion is the absolute best, period. He has the now rare gift of a "bedside manner", as well as compassion. His character is beyond reproach with superior knowledge, and skills. Dr. Tatum performed my laparoscopic hysterectomy in 1997, way before most OB-GYNs had the skill or technology. Everything turned out perfect! One tiny scar at my bellybutton that nobody can see is all that remains. I wore a 2 pc bikini for many years! More importantly, to this day I have never had any problems. Dr. Tatum has a wonderful personality, laid-back, easy to talk with~ about anything, and a bit fun! All while extremely patient focussed. I'd drive a couple of hours to see him. Instead of any Raleigh docs.!
