Dr Shideman is personable and capable. He discussed and proposed treatment options that I wasn't aware were available to me. I gave Dr. Shideman a shot after initially meeting another radiation oncologist that treated me like I was a number - a case - his manner was cold and clinical. I'm glad I did - Dr. Shideman by contrast treated me as a real person, patiently talking through all the feelings and questions that go along with cancer treatment. I would absolutely refer others to him.

I saw Dr. Shideman at the Fairview Maple Grove location for my 28 radiation treatments for breast cancer. Dr. Shideman was the most down-to-earth doctor I have ever worked with. He is such a good listener, he has a great sense of humor, and he was very knowledgeable. His staff was so friendly. I was dreading daily radiation treatments, but his entire staff made it so much better than I ever imagined it would be.
