Competent, calm
Dr. Owen saw me immediately at the Heart Hospital ER when I presented with suspicious blood accumulation at the bottom of my foot following an injury to that leg. I had suffered a pulmonary embolism three years earlier following similar symptoms. The staff there are incredibly well trained and efficient. Within a few minutes I had all the tests run. Dr. Owen very calmly and patiently went over what the results and symptoms meant. Turned out I was OK.

Wouldn’t wish this Dr on anybody!
Was seen by Dr. Owen at a rural ER clinic. His bedside manner was horrible and he did not care about how much pain I was in while having a brown recluse, bite, drained, and packed. he was very rough, and rude. Thankfully, a nurse came in and held my hand because they could see how much pain I was in. I would not recommend Dr. Owen at all.

After performing an array of tests that mostly showed that my husband's chest pains were unexplainable (no heart attack), Dr. Owen ordered one further test (a thoracic CT scan) based on a slightly elevated result in the blood panel. That test turned out to be critical: it showed an incipient treatable lung cancer that might have eluded us for months had he not made the decision to look into that one blood test result. We think he may well have saved my husband's life. Thank you, Dr. Owen!
