Dr. Charles Lalonde, MD

Staff organized and friendly. Dr. Lalonde was kind, informative and complete, actually read my history. The exam did not hurt me like others. Wish I had gone to him earlier, really helped me with a gynecological issue.

Dr. LaLonde helped me with a problem I had been dealing with for years. I had seen other doctors and been misdiagnosed, put on meds I didn't need, and was just generally miserable. Dr. LaLonde performed an out-patient surgery and I am better. It was less than one month from when I initially saw him to when I was cured. He is a great doctor. He listened to my symptoms and history, examined me, answered my questions and then helped me. He's straightforward and good at his job. He's probably better for a woman who doesn't need to be coddled and just wants to get better without any nonsense. I can't recommend him enough. The staff at the office are also just great.

Rude has no empathy for family members after surgery will not even call them

This doctor is very pushy of what he thinks is right for you, even when you are making informed decisions about your care. Recently I actually switched from this office midway through my pregnancy because I felt a genuine lack of care/concern from him. Third pregnancy, first time ever being high risk and felt every question or concern I had was being dismissed or brushed off. Even though I knew exactly when my last monthly period was, he tried to convince me that I was not as far along as I knew I was. When I switched OBs I found out that I was in fact right all along. When I asked for an ultrasound to check on the condition hed diagnosed me with his reply was "ultrasounds are not a toy" ....yet when I switched to another OB I was given an ultrasound every two weeks until delivery because of the seriousness of said condition. I loved his staff from the receptionists to his MA Carrie and was very sad to be leaving all of them but I could not excuse Dr.Lalondes genuine lack of concern.

had a hysterectomy- he had 6 patients after me so i think he rushed. he left 2 bleeders - nurses at memorial hospital did not believe me that something was seriously wrong. they ignored me and released me. i wound up in the ER with rmergency abdominal surgery 3 hours later - and 4 blood transfusions. Dr Lalonde never bothetedto see ne ir inquire about my health during the entire ordeal. he simply didnt care - but cared deeply about his reputation. do not trust this man - his heart is not in medcine any longer.

Dr LaLonde was very rude. He does not have a very pleasant bed side manner. He is very harsh not gentle, the exam hurt. I will not recommend him to anybody. Terrible. I knew this was going to be a bad experience. The receptionist was the rudest person just nasty. I will never go back again.
