The only heart surgeon one would ever need.
I'd been a patient of Dr. Gbur for a few years previously, and I have a stent and pacemaker/defibrillator thanks to Dr. Gbur. I'd tried to find a cardiologist closer to my home, but was never successful in finding one as good as Dr. Gbur. As I near my 80th yr., I knew I had to return to Dr. Gbur's care. My visit went well and he's totally familiar with my case and that's comforting. My family is glad I'm back in the care of Dr. Gbur too.

A Pleasure to Work and Train With
I have had the pleasure to work with Chuck as our Vice President of Tactical Medicine over the past six years, where he has led the development and instruction of tactical medicine content for all instructors as well as students. His burning desire to pass on his vast knowledge of tactical medicine (honed over a 25-year career as a medical officer in the United States Navy, most of which was served in the Fleet Marine Force) is evidenced in his continued questioning of techniques and methodologies and his long time association with both past and current Corpsman, Medics, Paramedics, Nurses, and Drs., in order to keep up with what is and isn't working from those who are actually implementing policies and procedures on the front lines. Whether you are looking for an interventional cardiologist or looking for someone who can help your team get on the same sheet of music to be prepared for the worst-case scenarios in medicine, Chuck deserves your attention.

True Healthcare Specialist
I needed a fast appointment during the Covid Lockdown. Dr. Gburs' staff was priceless in providing me near immediate access when other offices were shuttered and offering "virtual healthcare". Dr, Gbur met me personally, examined me, got me my testing and returned my results with extreme speed and cordiality. He personally reached out to the pharmacy and corrected their prescription errors on two different occasions. I will see no other Doctor for my pulmonary needs going forward, a world of Thanks Dr. Gbur.

Unlikely to refer
Dr was not open to discuss findings answer questions or explore options with my 75 year old father. The appointment was disappointing and we left feeling disheartened and frustrated. No care was given.
