Excellent Orthopedic Doc

A doctor that I can trust
I've seen Dr Gatt for my own knee surgery and diagnosis of my other knee. I know take my son to see him when he has a sports injury. Dr Gatt is professional, thorough and very knowledgeable. He has never tried to push for any intervention and has always been conservative, allowing the body to heal itself before any suggestions of surgery. For myself and my family I want to have faith and trust in my doctor and I have that with Dr Gatt.

Twenty years ago I had a full replacement of my knee which Dr, Gatt performed and I have never had a more professional and thorough doctor than him. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr, Gatt to perform knee surgery again. In fact, both of my sons have had shoulder replacements and would agree with me that he is both thorough.

Rushed, Not thorough.
Rushed, Not thorough. Gave my mother-in-law a cortisone injection in the wrong area and sent her on her way... saying he does not know why the symptoms were not alleviated after a follow-up visit. Had a second opinion done and was told surgery was the way to go. All is well now, after surgery and not being in the treatment or care of Dr. Gatt. Stay far far away.

I race motocross (dirt bike) and had multiple injuries throughout the years. I met Dr Gatt in 2001 after a bad left shoulder dislocation, torn rotator cuff, frozen shoulder etc. all in one crash! That was the first surgery that I had wit Dr. Gatt, and he put me back on my feet (or should I say back on my dirt bike) in a few months. From there on, each time I injured myself (too many times), I always put my faith in him: 2 ACL reconstructions (right and left knee in 2010 and 2011), torn labrum (right shoulder), two broken collarbones (left and right). Dr Gatt never pushes to surgery until there is no other options: he did not operate on my left collarbone which I was surprised because I thought it looked bad ... but he was right, the collarbone healed w/o surgery within a couple months. For the right collarbone, he plated it: I was back to normal after 6 weeks. Every single surgery he did was a success. Look no further if you need an orthopedic surgeon, you'll be happy.
