Emergency surgery, right inguinal hernia
Dr. Garner tried after the ER doctor had tried, to get the hernia to go back in. No success, so Dr. Garner said at almond midnight, we have to go to surgery. Every interaction that I’ve had with Dr. Garner, has been superb. Surgery went very well, for an extremely bad hernia, and everything is fine now and continuing to heal. Dr. Garner isn’t only an excellent surgeon but a great guy with a wonderful personality. He has to be, one of, if not the best surgeon in his field.

Probably a good surgeon but did not like DA Vinci robotic technique for a left inguinal hernia repair. Very sore in my abdomen for 10 days and left testicle for 5 days. Three scars in my abdomen that would have been better if sutures and not steri strips placed. Not the best bedside manner nor ability to communicate all that thesurgery involved. Also had to visit ER at 10 pm because of inability to urinate. That was anesthetists fault. I had a right side laparoscopic repair with no pain or complications by another surgeon in CO 3 yrs ago. I much prefer the laparoscopic technique.
