Heart Ablation
Dr Fuenzalida did my heart ablation over 20 years ago when I was residing in Colorado, due to SVT. No issues at all with my heart since. That is exceptional in my book! His work is built to last!

This is so great to hear. Thank you!

This is my story of what I interpret as neglectful behavior that my Father suffered at the hands of Dr. Charles Fuenzalida and his staff in 2019. Before you make decisions about choosing a cardiologist, please read this and ask yourself what you would do if this were you or your loved one. My Father was a patient of Dr. Charles Fuenzalida, Aurora, Denver Cardiology Associates for many years. He trusted and respected Dr. Fuenzalida. He kept his appointments; However, Dr. Fuenzalidas staff canceled and rescheduled my Fathers appointments on numerous occasions. When a Doctor earns Medical certification, they make a commitment to the states Medical commission that they will uphold professional duty to their patient. They made my Father wait almost a whole year before getting his badly needed aorta valve replacement surgery. I believe there was a serious breach of professional obligation on behalf of Dr. Fuenzalida and his medical team to my Father the patient. This delay was inexcusable.

How many times does a guy have to save my life to be highly recommended? Needless to say, I would recommend Dr. Fuenzalida and his talented staff, from front office to Cath Lab, to anyone in need of resolving the electrical mysteries of the heart.

I had no noticeable wait. While I had a mask I was given a new mask. I was notified Dr F. was just finishing a procedure elsewhere in the bldg and would be with me shortly. By the time the preliminaries were done he arrived. So no real waiting. He patiently listened to my life stressors which was nice. No complaints.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fuenzalida for over five years. He has provided me with expert care including open heart surgery. He has always been there at the hospital and in the office to get me through some tough times. I am in good heart health now. I owe this to Dr. Fuenzalida and the team at Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates.

I have been with Dr Fuenzalida since 2006 when I first went into Afib or maybe I should say he has stuck with me. My heart has been more than difficult and at times treatment has been a huge challenge. In spite of that, he has more than met the challenge and my heart is now behaving as it should.

Staff were very kind and compassionate. We had to wait more than 2 hours to be seen. While waiting we saw multiple clients come in after us and be seen while we still waited. Our family member was clearly in much worse shape (who has dementia, using a walker and on oxygen) then all but one of the clients taken back and seen before us. We were told that the doctor had double booked his clients so had no available rooms; we were also told that the doctor wanted to provide high quality service. I don't understand how waiting in the office to be seen for over 2 hours equates to high quality service. Also, we had to rebook our original apt (made more than 6 months ago for January 2020) because the doctor had to cancel his appointments that day and we couldn't be seen for over a month after he cancelled our original apt. After finally being taken to an exam room, we waited there for half an hour before the doctor came in. He arrived with no apologies.

I have been a patient of Aurora Denver Cardio for many years first being seen by Dr Barry Molk until his retirement a year ago. Dr Molk referred me to Dr Fuenzalida an I have been very satisfied with his care, he installed a pacemaker in me in 2018 and has continued with my care to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend this practice and this doctor.
