Initially, I began visiting the village doctor due to dissatisfaction with another practice in Starke, where the doctor was not fulfilling her professional obligations. However, Dr. Francis proved to be a straightforward and blunt physician who effectively addressed my concerns. His approach was uncompromising, characterized by clarity and a lack of ambiguity. As a result of his treatment, I was able to combat kidney disease and progress from a potential stage three to a potential stage two. Unfortunately, Dr. Francis' retirement necessitated my seeking care from a local doctor in Keystone Heights, within the same practice, but the quality of care was not comparable. I face significant challenges, including lack of transportation due to not possessing a driver's license, severe anxiety, and ongoing illness. Despite these obstacles, I was expected to attend appointments at specific times, which was not feasible. The friend who had offered to transport me had Just undergone surgery

My first appointment was great. Friendly efficient staff and the Dr. was very thorough, seemed knowledgeable, addressed all concerns; no frills. I like him so far.

Dr. Franson has always been kind, professional and is very trustworthy. He knows what he is doing.

I have been a patient for over 7 years now and he has always been the ultimate professional! Calm, considerate, insightful, knowledgeable and unflappable in a crisis. Is quiet spoken so pay attention, is always considerate of your privacy and confidence. Will give honest answer to any question you care to ask. Clinic is run professionally, with an upbeat friendly manner. All employees seem to be very helpful and will go out of their way to help you.

He does not rush. Soft spoken. Listens intensely to what a patient has to say. Explains what he is going to do.

Is patient. Does not rush. Explains what he is doing such as when he is going to give an injection and\or taking off a skin cancer. Explained if biopsy is needed or not. Not forceful. Sat in chair quietly while I cried for over ten minutes. He advised what I should do.
