Terrible
He misdiagnosed me. He didn't listen and he almost ki'lled me with 4 times of the amount of medicine that he was supposed to prescribe me. I was sick for 40 days. Then he had the audacity to tell me to resume taking the overdose of medicine after stopping the medicine.

My first Televisit with Dr. Fox
I just relocated from Summerville SC to the north Atlanta metro area. I am 73 years old and have had a j-pouch in place after the removal of my entire colon since 2006. My GI Doc in Summerville recommended Dr. Fox as a physician who would do a good job managing my digestive issues. The two GI docs went to medical school together in Virginia and have known each other for many years. I found Dr. Fox to be very personable and easy to talk to. I summarized my digestive history with Dr. Fox and explained that I normally don't have any serious issues but have been through some bouts of pouchitis and after taking Cipro to manage the pouchitis for several events over a 3-year period, this medicine stopped working effectively for me. I was started on Entyvio in Dec 2020 which has eliminated the pouchitis. Dr. Fox plans to get me started on infusions here in about a month, which is the most important procedure to keep my digestive health in good order. I look forward to working with Dr

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Fox?
Dr. Fox is dishonest and manipulative. I was recommended to him through my general physician who I had great experiences with, making me MUCH too quick to trust their recommendation without further research. I was told going into my procedure that I would need to pay $500 dollars and that would cover it. Upon arrival to my procedure and clarifying that I had already paid what I needed to. Dr. Fox took it upon himself to run many more wildly expensive tests and leave me without a diagnosis. I had bills from other hospitals tracing back to that visit claiming that he sent test over. I went from thinking I was paying $500 dollars to paying THOUSANDS of dollars. I rarely write negative reviews but would really love to do my part in making sure this does not happen to anyone else. He appears kind but do not be deceived. After this happened to me I researched and found that he has done this too many others as well.

Dr. Fox listened carefully to my issues and concerns. He provided me with his recommendation and his reasons for it. Dr. Fox was most concerned about my well being, and he did advise me that health decisions were, in fact, mine to make. I truly appreciated his candor.

Dr. Fox is one of the best doctors that my husband and I have ever seen. He makes us feel comfortable from the moment he enters the room, and he takes time to listen to us. When we are in need of a recommendation for a doctor in any other specialty, we ask Dr. Fox for his suggestion. We really trust him.

Having been plagued with 'a bad stomach' since childhood, I had 50 years of gastroenterology behind me when I found Dr. Fox. He was the first doctor to really listen when I told him my symptoms and to consider alternate explanations for everything I was experiencing. If you're looking for a doctor who is kind, compassionate, and endlessly patient with mystery symptoms - Dr. Fox is your answer.

Dr. Fox made me feel comfortable with an unfamiliar situation in my health. I am usually 100%, but I found myself weakened recently and he made the issue sound like small things to a giant. The procedure was quick and painless. His confidence is greatly-appreciated. I am glad that he was recommended to me and I plan on putting his name in the mix whenever I get a chance. I will also return if I ever need to.
