Visit satisfactory and helpful. The doctor and staff displayed a great bedside manner.

Doc is great at what he does due to his extensive background and his methods are different but arguably effective.

My initial experience with Dr. Covert was a little rough until I modified my way of thinking. He turned out to be very clinical and consistent, I now appreciate his prospective and operating procedures.

Dr. Covert and Diana are amazing people and have helped me with my treatment. Also, they’ve helped me with my meds to help me through my pain and sleep. Had an issue with my other treatment doctor he was not helping me at all so I switched treating doctor to Dr. Covert and I’ve been in the right path to my treatment, ever since I can’t stress enough how amazing Dr. Covert and his assistant Diana are. Highly recommend.

Took my teen to him because he was able to see my kid fairly quickly. (My kid begged for help, so i tried to get it). Spent a total of 3 hours with me, kid and both of us. Had my kid do tests. Was condescending to me (I am not a Doctor but have had plenty of experience with people with mental health issues), berated me for stopping him to ask questions (said it was his turn to talk, i had had my turn already and needed to just be quiet and listen). Told me the past was the past and didn't matter, it was time to move forward and focus. Told me and my kid he wouldn't treat my kid until my kid got it together (um my kid was seeking help to get it together), and he would be happy to treat me so i could get better.......WHAT???? We left and will never go back. Charged double what I was originally told, and was creepy and unprofessional. What a joke and horribly rude man. SEE THE GOOGLE REVIEWS!

I started seeing the doctor and my life was a living hell an old work injury left me addicted to pain pills and depressed. Working with him I am now off the pain pills and doing a lot better in life

Absolutely terrible experience with him. He's condescending and just wants money. The negative reviews are exactly what you're going to expect with this so called "Dr".

Would never recommend this man to anyone. Should not be allowed to practice medicine.

If you are not a workers comp patient and someone else is paying for his services be careful of this doctor. He will make you take tests that you can take on the Internet for nothing and charge hundreds of $$$. He will question you about your finances and than drain your pocketbook. He dispenses meds from a sample inventory creating frequent med check visits which last 15 minutes and cost the price of an hour with a real therapist. He gives advise that intimidate you instead of helping you so that you feel you are not getting better. The waits can be over an hour long to see him. The staff repeatly does not complete insurance forms correctly. As long as they get your check they do not care. This advise is just the tip of the iceberg. I got his name from the lobby directory. I did not check reviews as I was desperate to get help and new to Houston. ALWAYS READ REVIEWS OR GET A REFFERAL FOR THIS MAN- He should not be allowed to practice!
