Dr Chapel did a great job with my husbands foot. He is very thorough and straight to the point kind of doctor. His staff is exceptional from the receptionist to his nurse. Dr Chapel also helped me with my plantar fasciitis.

In it for the money!
I was 110 percent behind Dr Chapel. He helped save my right leg. He was starting to help on my left foot. I was in the hospital scheduled for surgery. The day before surgery, and after being up for 2 days straight due to pain, there were many other things going on in my life that the stress got to me. I smoke a cigarette in my bathroom to help with the stress. The hospital found out and gave my a choice. Give up my property or leave. I decided that I was needed far more at home and was unwilling to give up my property so I left the hospital. This had nothing to do with my doctor. He decided to stop seeing me as a patient. I am glad the doctor remembers his oath to not do any harm to the patient. I guess he is only in it for the money like far too many other doctors.

The Best
After suffering with plantar fasciitis for over a year laser did the trick. Amazing treatmet. No pain for over a year now. Recently had a foot fracture and he saw and treated me. He is professional and forthcoming. If you are looking for a friend he is not your guy. Staff are great. Office msnager has a cold personality.

Disappointed
This is a doctor and staff that see themselves as elitists. I went for their required follow up visit after one year. When the gatekeeper saw that I had a slip accident last JANUARY that was in litigation she said that Dr. Chapel would not see me. I said I slipped on oil and my feet were not the issue it was my face and head. But this office obviously cares more about getting paid by your insurance than actual care for you. I have good insurance and IF I wanted this doctor to be involved I would have made an appointment sooner than a yearly check up! I do have my personal doctor who keeps me well. She never had a problem with this incident other than where she could help me. The medical field is often too much about the money. Based on other reviews of Dr. Chapel I see this trend. Unless you want to take the time to show up for an appointment and then get sent home over some petty policy, I recommend that you choose a more caring about patients than money doctor. They ARE available.

I went to have a large callus removed.. before he even looked at my foot he said "you know a salon can do this right and for much cheaper?" Money was not a factor. I would also love to know what salon is going to do that much work for less than $50. He only started being helpful when he realized that I could afford the care. I did not return after my visit and my callus is already back.

I mentioned to him what I wanted done. He did nothing to help me out. Sold me some medication for my neuopathy, they were expired. It took an arm and a leg to get it straightened out.

Unfortunately I did not have a good visit with this doctor. I brought my legally blind 82yr old father who suffers with dementia in to have a ingrown toenail removed. Dr. Chapel became easily upset and aggravated with my father because he didn’t want to answer what day it was. He refused to treat my father and asked us to leave because my father said he didn’t want to answer my questions that do not pertain to the treatment of his foot. I can not in good conscience recommend this doctor at all. If he can behave this way with a 82yr old, feeble, blind, dementia suffering man, who knows how he will behave with anyone else.

Went in for one thing and came out knowing much more that I never even thought of! Super caring, phenomenal team of professionals and, truly caring. They really take the time to explain everything and, go above and beyond to help. If you have any questions or concerns they will cover every single one of them as well!

It was great. Dr Chapel is a serious professional, gets to the point. Very knowledgeable and experienced. I finally see foot issues to be taken care of after a decade of poor treatment. Dr Chapel very likely saved my leg from amputation.

With my medical condition I have spent almost a year in a hospital, which includes Spring Hill, Bayonnet Point, Tampa General, Kindred, and Saint Joseph Tampa, I have seen so many different Doctors that I have learned how to tell a good one from a bad one. Doctor Chapel is differently one of the good ones, and I am proud to have him as one of my team of doctors.

If I could give a 0 I would!! He insisted on thinking my daughter was sexually active demanding a pregnancy test before treatment. We told him multiple times she wasn’t active, she was on birth control and NOT pregnant. Long story short he got angry, was very disrespectful, stating he didn’t care if we liked it or not and we were dismissed! We could take our business somewhere else. To top it off the front desk lady Tammie was a complete B. The nurse was the only one that was super nice. Horribl

Hello, I’m here to tell you about my experiences with Dr. Chapel. As a patient of his for many years, he and his staff are very personable, very professional, and very very helpful. I will be the first one to tell you that I am a very hard patient, fighting Dr. Chapel all the way about my treatments, but yet still took the time to work with me, and the particular problem I was in there for still HEALED. Thanks to Dr. Chapel, I would say that he is part miracle worker along with his great staff!!

I had gotten a really bad infection in my toe and the four podiatrists I had seen earlier all treated it as if it would be okay. My toe was getting worse and I was still being told that everything would be okay. Dr Chapels staff got me an early appointment. Dr Chapel did a thorough examine and saved my toe. Capable, always courteous, willing to take time to explain, I’m grateful I have had Dr Chapel as my doctor. It’s my pleasure and without reservation I recommend Dr Chapel to anyone in need.
