Worst doctor experience ever!
This was one of the WORST doctor/medical experience I've ever had. While I expected some discomfort, I never expected to feel as if someone, for several seconds, had held a branding iron against my skin. I question whether they were saving money, using as little medication as possible to try to numb the area of my leg being treated. Dr Bellows, much like the other reviews I've seen, seemed arrogant and put out when I tried to ask questions. There were pictures all over the walls and he could not point to one to explain the procedure. Painful during treatment and for several weeks after. Horrible horrible experience.

Poor communication and inaccurate reporting
Dr. Bellows treated me over a few months for venous insufficiency. I have two concerns about the practice. First, there is no local number for the office, but only a national number, which makes it difficult to communicate and get information quickly. Second, after completion of the treatments, I learned that he wrote in my records that I have DVT (blood clots), a dangerous condition, but gave no details. He didn’t communicate this to me, nor did he treat me for it. I won’t return to the practice, and I won’t recommend it to others.

Scary and disappointing experience
I was concerned about varicose veins starting to appear on my legs and scheduled a consult for trying to prevent more. Went through the screening process and they pre-approved my treatment with my insurance, or so they said. 4 days after number 4 of 6 of the planned venaseal treatments, my leg started to hurt (more than the normal after treatment pain I was used to). I called Dr. Bellows who chastised me for calling right before he was heading out of town for a trip. He put off my fears and told me it probably wasn't a blood clot and to go to the ER if it got hot. Well, next morning it was swollen, purple/red, hot and more painful. Trip to the ER confirmed it was a clot at the top of the vein they worked on and into another vein that was connected. Dr. Bellows told me I could continue on with the treatment with the last 2 veins. Um, no thanks. Long story short. Insurance denied my treatments and I have lost the money paid for my deductible and this office is not helping.

Struggled with vein disease for 25+ years. Just had my fourth vein treatment this morning with Dr. Bellows and couldn't be more pleased. The procedure is relatively pain free, the doctor and his staff are very friendly, professional and efficient. I'm very confident in the treatment plan and have "happy legs" for the first time in decades!

Would Not Recommend
I would not recommend Dr. Bellows. He has little to no bedside manner, seemed annoyed when I asked questions, and blamed me for pain I was still experiencing after a procedure he performed. He was always in a hurry and didn't explain clearly what he was doing and why he was doing that particular procedure.
