Not sure if it's him or the staff in the office however over and over I have experiences ranging from subpar and inconvenient to awful and fully unfulfilling every single time. I'm sure the regulars of the office get what they need however being a young person from Lafayette that comes very rarely, somehow nothing has happened with ease or even competence at this point. I sustained a critical injury and had to drive an hour to the office for a referral after recovering and had a very simple appointment with little involved, and was on my way. Somehow after nearly a month the referral was realized as invalid, for no records were attached (Aswell told me all that needed to be done was wait for a call from the specialist for an appt.), and after calling multiple times, it was made clear that an employees resignation was the reason for the miscommunicated information. Dr.Aswell is clearly not the main issue here however his lack of attention towards the staff is extremely obvious.

He has done wonders for my overall health. Prescribed the perfect balance pf meds for my blood pressure and diabetes treatment. Would highly recommend him.

Worst doctor i have ever heard of in my life he put my grampaw on 4 different schizophrenia medications. My grampaw is not schizophrenic he had a stroke 3 years ago and legs were swollen he admitted him and gave him medications that caused him to have another stroke. He no longer should practice medicine, he will end up killing someone. When my grampaw was admired he knew who everyone was once the doctor started giving him meds he stopped eating, couldn’t move legs at all, and now talks out of his head. My grampaw was more active than a 30 year old man he maintaine a farm now he just yells peoples names from when he used to work. I do believe this doctor does no longer know what he is doing any more. So if you see him please get a second opinion he can cost you your life. Also there are plenty other horror stories I have heard about him. I just want to warn people I don’t want him to mess up anyone’s loved ones from being careless.
