Wasting time and money!!!
Usually, I don't like to leave any negative reviews unless I need to! I visited her several years ago. I had a neck pain. She talked to me less than 5 minutes. She asked me to moved my head and touched my shoulders and told me to see a physical therapist for 10 session and come back to see her. The office charged me 3 times more other doctors!!!!

incompetent and waste of time
My daughter went to visit Dr. Hu by recommendation of her physician. After my daughter listed related family medical history upon request, Dr. Hu immediately began questioning the validity of my daughter's statement, acting extremely condescending and unwilling to listen. My daughter left the room with no solution to her initial issue and her time wasted. Doctors should be providing aid to their patients, not interrogating them — unprofessional and unqualified.

I have a seriously complicated health issue, and she could have been more willing to understand the issues, and seemed uncomfortable with not knowing as much as the patient. She had her set course for treating headaches/migraines which anyone can look up online (there are ~6 medications). Alternative modalities were not mentioned. She was less than kind about my concerns during the visit by calling what I wanted "magic". When asked about peripheral neuropathy, she said "that could be due to 30 things", and when asked about how to treat the nerves she said "that is for psychiatrist to figure out"Her consistent refrain was "I only treat headache." The visit was strange, invalidating, and she could greatly improve her bedside manner.

She didn’t seem to care about how patient feels and she questioned the reason for visit. When I tried to explain details, she questioned everything we did. I haven’t seen a dr who seems so careless and superior to her patience which is what I completely don’t understand. It’s such a bad experience and bad feeling so we decided to switch to another doctor. We didn’t get much info or helpful info after the visit. It’s such waste of my work time and money.

Very impatient and did not seem to care. Diagnosed me within two sentences, when trying to explain she didnt want to listen. In the end she reversed her initial diagnosis, this was after basically begging her to listen after every sentence. I also heard one of the nurses say "You have a meeting with the senator at 5:30 and traffic is bad." and my appointment was at 4:30. Great professionalism.

We found Dr. Hu to be a poor match for us. She did not listen well or respect my history or situation. She knew answers before she heard questions. Bossy and not at all pleasant.

Dr Hu spent about 25 minutes typing on her laptop and jumped to a conclusion on the diagnosis. At the end of a 20 minute visit she had the nerve to charge $617.00 which will not be covered by insurance because of the enormous deductible that I have to pay. She also prescribed a medicine that caused side effects. We saw her for a follow up visit for a whooping 5 minutes and she charged $340.00. Again, not covered by insurance because of the outrageously high deductible.

Dr Hu was cold, condescending and impatient. She spent most time typing away on her laptop instead of listening to you. She was visibly upset when I politely asked her a question. I came out of her office not learning more than when I came in. It's rare today to find a doctor who acts superior toward her patients. I blamed myself for not reading the poor reviews about her.

I was seen by Dr. Hu as an inpatient. She was not a good listener nor seemed to be particularly interested in my case. She ordered no tests at all and spent very little time with me.
