Prepare to wait and wait and wait.
I showed up to the appointment that was made well in advance about 15 minutes early. I was taken back to the exam room. I waited, and waited and waited. I got up went to the door, and he came strolling by and acted like he could care less. After 1 hour, I left without being seen. What a very bad way to treat a patient. I would never recommend him to anyone.

A straight shooter
Dr Hummel is not only very competent, he makes you feel at ease and well taken care of. He only recommends procedures if they are really needed. I am glad he is my ophthalmologist.

Do not waste your time with this doctor.
This doctor is a terrible physician, clearly below average in every way. Does not seem to listen to concerns, does not explain anything and has a condescending attitude.

Wish he was still here in Massapequa ny by a 1000%
He did cataract operation on one eye and all is perfect. Every visit I was well informed about my eye care. So sorry to see him go but wish him the BEST in Florida.

Great Doctor
I finally found a great doctor and then he moved. He did both of my cataracts on both eyes. My eye sight is now 20/20. If ever I need additional surgery . I will fly down to Florida to have him do it. Dr Hummel come back to Massapequa please !!!

Highly recommended. Dr. Hummel has a wonderful bedside manner. He is one of the few doctors that actually looks you in the eye and listens as you speak about your concerns. I am so glad to be a member of his practice.
