I recently took my wife to the ER because of a lump in her back accompanied with excruciating pain and nausea. Upon his first approach, he had his mind made up that there was no medical issue with her. He did not ask what symptoms or issues were being had. He did not care what medical conditions were present. No bloodwork, urinalysis or any other testing was ordered by him. He said there was no medical problem present, and that we just need to see our PCP. I asked how he could know that without performing any testing. I also said that she had already been seen by a Dr and that the instructions were 'If pain or symptoms increase, seek emergency medical attention.' Only then did he order any tests and then had her admitted to the hospital. If you have Dr. Eller, YOU ARE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE!!!

I saw Dr Eller in the ER & he walked out of the room with a diagnosis before I could tell him all my symptoms or any labs or xrays had been done as if he was too busy to listen. When everything came back he returned to tell me I had prescriptions and didn't explain what they were for and when I asked about my results said my urine test looked "wonky" and that's all. I had to look up on my "My Chart" acct. to see test results and see that several of my levels were up. He stated I wasn't nauseous, didn't have diarrhea or constipation which I had but he didn't stay in the room long enough for me to tell him all my symptoms. Just a urine test and xrays no bloodwork was taken at all. He has a terrible bedside manner. He instructed me to follow up with my Dr soon. I guess that's so my Dr can find what he didn't have time to check for in an emergency situation.At this rate I hope patients make it to their doctors if they're misdiagnosed with a critical condition that he doesn't have time for.
