Competent and caring
He’s very efficient. He goes over everything with you thoroughly so that you understand what’s going on with your eye issues and what the possibilities are for improvement of vision. I ended up having eye surgery thinking my vision would never get better. The surgery was successful. I have my vision back and instead of checkups every three months I can wait for a year before I need to have my next check up. I always ask a lot of questions, and he never had a problem answering any of them. It never upset him. I highly recommend him.

Great Eye Doc!
First ran into him on a Saturday after an ER Visit. He being "on-call" I thought he'd just examine and make a recommendation. Instead, he laser zapped both eyes as I had multiple retinal tears. Subsequent visits, the same treatment. What I like about Dr. Bouchard is his competence and communication. Very easy-going and likable, he explains in layman terms what's going on concerning your condition. If you were anxious before treatment, you won't be after meeting him. Glad to be his patient.

My wife was seen and evaluated, yesterday, by Dr. Bouchard. He is a very bright physician, who is caring and thoughtful. He reviewed all of her findings and discussed them with us in detail. He discussed differentials with us and discussed his plans with us, allowing us to feel included in his decision-making processes. He answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable, throughout. We will be seeing him back in about a month. He has a very helpful staff, as well. I would recommend him to anyone that needed this type of care and will be referring to him, myself.
