At age 28 I suffered from an avascular necrosis of the femoral head. This means a fracture caused the bone to loose it's blood supply & subsequently die. I was a Military wife and my accident that caused the injury was 2 years prior & in Indiana & was a work related injury & originally handled through "workmans comp". & with that I came to Dr Sevilla in Texas with a misdiagnosis & by the time all was said & done, he held my hand for my first steps as I was afraid & he was a blessing I am now 56.
