Over 30 years of insulin pump therapy
Some 30 years ago, I was a 47 year old male type 1 diabetic (since age 19) and Celina Hetnal was my endocrinologist who suggested that I consider insulin pump therapy instead of my taking several insulin shots each day. After a week or so of considerations, I took the plunge and started pump therapy. Now, I am now a 78 year old retiree living in Rocklin, CA., with good vision and limb circulation, enjoying my grand kids, maintaining my diabetes (with A1cs in the 6.7 to 7.1 range) using a Medtrinic 780G CGM system, all thanks to Celina Hetnal's recommendations many years ago.In the 'diabetes world', it does not get any better then that!Thank you Dr. Celina Hetnal.
