I saw Dr. Cedric Buckley on Aug. 4, 2023, for the sole purpose of obtaining a referral letter so that I could go to a follow-up appointment with my dermatologist on Monday, Aug. 8. I was told by the staff when I left that the letter had been send to the dermatologist only to find out on the day of my appointment that the dermatologist was never provided with the referral letter, resulting in my being turned away from my appointment. Making matters worse, he/his staff mailed the referral to my home address some 40 days after my appointment. I guess they felt that was a really good joke on me, the patient. Dr. Buckley's attitude and demeanor were atrocious and illustrated that he doesn't have much regard for his patients or their needs. He was curt and completely unhelpful. My advice to anyone looking for a good doctor is to avoid Dr. Cedric Buckley.

When you work in healthcare, sometimes you take care of other people but let yourself go health wise. That’s me. But I’ve started seeing Dr Buckley to change that. I’ve seen him 3 times since he’s come to Gainesville. He’s kind, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen. Since it had been awhile, on the first visit, there were multiple issues to tackle. He took the time to address each one. I have been back twice. I will continue to see Dr Buckley. Satisfied nurse patient.

Having just moved here from out of state, I was in search for a personal, family type Dr. Today was my first visit to NTMC and appointment with Dr. Buckley. I was greeted warmly by every staff member I had contact with. Being a detail person myself, I was extremely impressed with the thoroughness of Dr. Buckley. I left the hospital with a definite, detailed plan to move forward for treatment. I definitely felt good about my visit at NTMC.

Dr. Buckley and his nurse were helpful and professional. I received good advice and instructions for my meds and suggestions for better health.I would readily recommend Dr. Buckley to my friends.

Seemed rushed

I was given an appointment time of 10:30, I arrived at 10:10 to be told after check-in that my appointment was at 10 and I had missed it. Dr Buckley was there and front desk asked him and he said NO to re-schedule. I was a new patient trying to find a good PCP but quickly decided that he was not it.
