WORST DOCTOR EVER- still traumatized 10 yrs later
WORST doctor I have ever had. He wasn't my OBGYN but he was the doctor on duty when I went into labor. A decade after my child's birth, I'm still traumatized by how rude, inappropriate, and disrespectful he was towards me as a first time mom and woman of color. STAY AWAY from this horrible human being.

Not Professional
Came in for iud placement. Made me feel uncomfortable and he didn't let the nurse stay in the room, while he did the procedure.

Dr. Bassett is an intelligent, compassionate, and excellent physician. Throughout my pregnancy, he spent ample time with me making sure I felt heard and understood. He respected all of my choices but was also able to make gentle suggestions for my benefit. When it came to the delivery it was the smoothest recovery that I have had (it was my third c-section). I cannot say enough good things about his professionalism and care.

He is very patient and carefully explained details. No rush at all. He took time waiting for my questions. He is professional and understanding, though English is not my first language. I felt very comfortable during the whole procedure which took more than thirty minutes.

He didn’t explain anything to me knowing that I am a first time mom. My visits was rushed n had him not spending more than five mins. He didn’t carry on the urine test for non of my visits, knowing that it had to be done to see if I have infection so that it doesn’t harm my baby. I had to withdraw my care from him at 32 weeks because I was never comfortable

He was an absolute GEM! Took the time to answer questions. Him and his staff did an amazing job taking care of myself and our baby boy born 6 weeks early. I cannot Thank You enough.

When my wife was 8 months pregnant this doctor tried to lie to us about our child's health to induce my wife into early labor. 30 seconds before this happened, the nurse who gave us an ultrasound said everything was good. We needed to know who was lying and asked the nurse to come in but the doctor wouldn't allow it. Do not take you spouse to this doctor.

Dr. Bassett spend a lot of time with me carefully listening to my health concerns. He was patient and informative. I never felt rushed. He gave me several options.

Extremely unprofessional provider. I had meningitis a week prior to delivery and was hospitalized at Maple Grove Hospital. Dr. Bassett refused to investigate any of the symptoms. Was very dismissive and condescending when presented with concerns.

Very thorough and compassionate physician. Dr. Basset spent a good amount of time with me and answered my questions so I could make a informed decision of which of the options were best suited for me. ?? I am happy with the out come of my surgery, with Dr. Basset as a well informed knowledgeable gifted surgeon.
