Dr. Catherine Vanderloos, MD

The Dr and Nurse are fabulous. Waited an hour past my scheduled time, the lady who is the receptionist was rude to me the day before (hanging up ) on the phone. The receptionist didn’t greet me or give me a receipt or anything. She was very snare when answering a question left for the nurse (not sure why a receptionist calls about medical information). I mentioned her rudeness to the nurse and commented don’t think she likes me and I wasn’t sure why since I only come there once a year and I pay out of pocket.

I was shocked by so many negative comments on Aquarium and her disrespectful attitude towards potential returning and current patients. I too experience the exact rudeness. It's no way to report such outside of Dr. Vanderloos office because I'm sure her position holds no license or require much education behind her looking at the ceiling as you ask her questions or having the phone lines on hold for 20 mins at a time until she decides to hang up. I did report to Mrs Katy verbally and written to send over to Dr. Vanderloos and will continue to report her. Aquarium originally lied and stated I would need to verbally express my concerns to her because the entire office was empty until I challenge her lie, suddenly she place Mrs. Katy on the phone. Any employee of mines that risk my reputation that I work so hard for is terminated. The complaints are dated current up to a year back as she continues to mistreat patients because it's not her business or reputation therefore she can careless.

My yearly visit was 12-9-2019. Love Dr. Vanderloos & have been a patient there for 5 years now. I have never had an issue with unhelpful staff until now. I have requested by phone & thru her patient portal a HCFA form in order to file my supplemental insurance. To date I have not been able to obtain this form. I spoke Katie who assured me that she would be sending the form. For this reason I will be requesting my records. I do that I can at least obtain them.

Bad. Staff at desk are very rude. Room was dirty, dust bunnies behind furniture on the floor. Hand hygiene products looked empty. To schedule appointment on the phone is even worse. Will put you on hold and forget about you. Called several times through day and kept being put on hold.

Bullet points: -Minimum 1.5 hour wait past your appointment time for every visit with no explanation given -Doctor has terrible bedside manner and attitude -Doctor does not care about you unless you have been her patient for years already -You will leave dissatisfied and without being helped -Don't waste your time

Dr. Vanderloos has been my gynecologist for a year, & she is excellent! From the smiles upon entrance to her hugs prior to departure, I'm so pleased with my treatment. I love that I don't have to always pick up the phone to call if I need something - I can go online, leave my question or request & a member of the office staff responds quickly. I'm so grateful to have found a Doctor who sincerely wants to know my needs & how I'm doing, in addition to providing quality medical care.

Just a wonderful experience! The staff has been together a long time. Everything was explained in terms I could understand. There was so much laughter:) In sold on procedures Dr. V. recommended to help me through menopause.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Vanderloos. I have been going to Dr. V for about 22 years. She has the best bed side manners I have ever experienced with any Dr and I trust her completely. She always takes the time to really listen to you.

Dr. Vanderloos is so kind and considerate. She knows the struggles of women, and she is very relate-able. She speaks to you in terms that you understand, and she celebrates your successes. She is knowledgeable and shares her knowledge by empowering you!

Always gentle and caring. Pleasant atmosphere. Would recommend to any woman looking for a gynecologist.

Most compassionate,understanding Doctor ! She is up on the latest research, procedures that pertain to women . She has helped me in many phases of my life: childbearing, hysterectomy, menopause, post menopause , bladder leakage, and many other things. She is promoting health and wellness in women and bringing HOPE TO WOMEN OF ALL AGES! I would recommend her and have sent my friends to her! I am forever blessed!

She is very compassionate and understanding and truly cares about your overall health. She is on top of all the latest in women's health issues.

I would recommend Dr. Vanderloos to any woman because she's very thorough, asks a lot of questions about your health, asks if your medication is working, always explaining in detail and answers all your questions. She listens to whatever I'm saying, not always writing down or looking elsewhere when I'm talking. Results are always good.
