Wonderful Dr. Trippe
Dr. Trippe was so helpful and comforting for our family during a very difficult end of life decision for my brother. In the kindest and most thoughtful way imaginable, Dr. Trippe asked us many questions about him to understand what his interests were, his values, character and any other observations about who he was as a person. It felt like a type of celebration of him, during a very emotional time for all of us. By so calmly listening to us speak of him, she developed a sense of the choices he likely would make for himself, if he could. She then contacted his 2 young adult sons, via telephone to explain the situation in advance of their arrival at the hospital. We were all so grateful that she spoke of their dad with knowledge of him and sensitivity. I really can't fully express in words alone our gratitude for Dr. Trippe.
