MLM Grunt Masquerading as a Doctor
I had to visit her for skin problems from metallosis. She didn't bother looking at my medical history, she didn't bother looking at any documentation I prepared to show for my condition, and she just kept trying to force products on me to buy and say I should only use them. She had to change my diagnosis three times during the five minutes she was actually there, each time being because I had to force in information which she failed to remember multiple times. She was insistent on simply giving me a random diagnosis based on nothing more than a single glance, and then shoving a bunch of products down my throat, as quickly as possible to get me out so she could move on to the next sucker. Biggest waste of an $85 co-pay I've ever had to use and incredibly disturbing how she's even allowed to act like this.If you've been recommended this doctor, or this clinic, find literally anyone else.

Not a good experience with her
Today I met with Dr. Chen for the first time for a skin check. I went in with high expectations due to good reviews I've read. Friendly greeting, but by the end of the visit I felt attacked and derided for choices I have made for my skin care. I felt like it was not motivated by a genuine concern for me, but by her own financial gain - that I didn't give her the opportunity to do more for me than check my skin thus denying her more money on my case. It was very disappointing. Instead of treating me like a child who doesn't have a clue about my own skincare, she could have asked more questions and had a greater understanding of where I was coming from. I just read about healthcare providers falling into the 'expert trap' in interviewing their clients - 'ensuring that information is provided in a respectful way by asking permission before giving advice.' That definitely was not done in my case.

After waiting 30 minutes in a gown...she came in bragging about what a great surgeon she was and barely checked my skin..didnt read my chart that i was diagnosed with lupus of the skin. AWFUL EXPERIENCE...WASNT EVEN A FULL BODY EXAM-CANT BELIEVE I WAITED A YEAR FOR THAT!

Love her, but her employers are AWFUL.
Best *medical* dermatologist this side of Boston. Along with her educational prestige that she brought back to AZ, she's one of the kindest people I know. I've seen over 40 dermatologists and when I met her, she was the one to keep. She's meticulous, detail oriented, interested in cases. I've been a patient of her's for 15+ years. However, she has worked for practices that are absolutely dreadful. Their billing is out of control. They have front and back office staff that can ruin your day. I still go through all the BS just to see HER.

I like Dr Chen although she always seems to be in a hurry. Her front desk staff is awful! Verify rude when calling in.

Chen-sai was arrogant and easily offended. I had what I'd describe as uncaring treatment. Her staff was awful as well. Saw her a couple years ago. BAD EXPERIENCE.

While seemingly sweet to your face, I’ve heard her say rude things behind closed doors about not believing my experience. First piece of advice, do not talk about patients right in front of their door and think that they will be clueless enough not to listen. She also rushes through the appointment and is not attentive. She uses outdated medical solutions for her patients. Each medicine she prescribed for me made my symptoms worse.

Does Spectrum not respect you either? I had a bad experience with Spectrum. First, I had to wait five weeks to be seen. I did wait and had a appointment set for 09/28/2017 at 2:00 pm. I drove across the Phoenix valley to get there and signed in at 1:14 pm. I arrived early as I wanted to make sure I was able to complete their "new patient" paperwork to be seen, on time, for my 2:00 pm appointment. I ask the front desk person at 2:15, "How far behind are you running?" She replied,"There is only on

Pretends niceness but is rude and bossy. Rushed through my full-body exam, got bossy and rude not long after it started. Failed to explain what the bumps on my scalp are. I still have no idea if they're cysts, moles,or just what. She only felt my scalp and didn't look at it ! I had a very painful lip injection/biopsy and no one asked if I was OK even though I indicated I felt bad {shock} , neither Chen nor the assistant stopped to make sure I was OK. The office manager,Donna, is horrible.

I cannot believe how non-customer oriented this company is. I saw the Chandler office for several years and we now have a billing issue. I contacted the Chandler office at least 4 times to get this fixed and they do not want to deal with it. When I got a notice of collection from Spectrum, I called to explain the situation to the 'main' billing office, Susie, she was absolutely rude. No, it's not a matter of not paying the bill and being irresponsible. It's a matter of the wrong code to the insu

I used to see Dr Chen until about one year ago. After 35+ years working outside in the sun primarily in Arizona and a few years in Southern California, Dr Chen advised me that I did not need to be seen yearly, and suggested only being seen once every 2-3 years by a P.A.!!! Are you kidding me! That's nutty thinking! Be careful if you see this doctor!!!

Dr Chen-Tsai makes sitting in a very dated Chandler office completely worth it! Office staff is very kind and helpful, but the entire office is oddly old-looking. However, Dr Chen-Tsai is very kind, helpful, and extremely thorough in examination and explanation. Her kindness and personable nature is truly extraordinary, and I very highly recommend her and her very kind staff.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Chen because I was frequently getting rashes under my arms without explanation. I had seen various doctors over the past six years in attempt to diagnose and treat it, but after several biopsies and tests, no one had given me an explanation. Within minutes of visiting with Dr. Chen, she had given me a diagnosis and two different treatment options and one of them was a success! I highly recommend Dr. Chen and plan to see her for all of my dermatological needs!

Excellent experience. Both Dr Chen AND her asst. Patty we're incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of my condition. They went out of the way to contact and communicate with me each step of the way. If you need the services of a dermatologist you don't need to look further. Thank you Dr Chen. Thank you patty. They even helped to find insurance for a very expensive problem.
