If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I was referred to Cassie Smith by my doctor and a friend recommended her. However, I could never get a person to answer (or call back after multiple messages left) to schedule an appointment. I finally called repeatedly one day until I got a person and was told there was no referral for me and that the scheduling dept was behind; wait 2 weeks and I'd get a call. I never heard back. I was referred to a different provider shortly after and had been with them almost 2 months when I FINALLY heard from Cassie's office. They left a message telling me they had a referral for me and asking to get me scheduled. THREE MONTHS after it was sent. I tried calling back to tell them I no longer need her services and had to leave ANOTHER message. That was almost 2 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a returned call. Ultimately, I'm glad I avoided the inevitable and am getting wonderful care elsewhere. Just based on this, I wouldn't recommend even trying to get in.

We went through four doctors until we were finally referred to her. She was able to almost immediately diagnose my wife’s Hashimoto’s thyroid Iris and arrange for removal. My wife was near giving up until Dr. Smith. Highly recommended!

Dr. Smith is great
I was diagnosed with diabetes but I did not have confidence in the doctors who were treating me so I followed a friend's advice to see Dr. Smith. She reviewed the tests, asked the appropriate questions, made a clear diagnosis and recommendations for treatment. My numbers are going in the right direction and have confidence in my doctor

Absolutely terrible experience
Dr. Smith is unprofessional, demeaning and has horrible bedside manner. Save yourself the headache and find another doctor. I had several horrible experiences. She’s also terrible to her staff.

A Warm and Welcoming Place
Karen was so helpful setting up my appt. I was seen in a timely manner. Amanda, Dr. Smith’s PA, has meticulously scheduled and explained all my upcoming tests. When Cassie Smith entered, she asked important questions, listened, and was genuinely concerned about finding the answers to my problem. P. Brown / April 2023

Hormone Replacement
After struggling with post menopause symptoms, I decided to make appointment with Dr Smith, because who would know more about hormones than an endocrinologist. She ran some initial testing and spent a great deal of time explaining my baseline levels and how starting me and getting me to an acceptable range would help my symptoms, and long term improve my health. Within a few months she achieved the optimal dosage for my hormones and then used the biote bioidentical hormone placed under the skin to achieve consistent levels and the ease of not taking daily medication. I go back every 3 months and have my blood work several times a year. She spends a great amount of time with you and focuses on your total health. It has made a tremendous impact on how I feel and I know I am being treated by someone who understands and knows that data on hormones for women.

Not great
Staff was nice but you only get to see her P.A. Nothing is more infuriating after dealing with a medical issues for years and when you finally get referred to a doctor, they only let you see their P.A. who just got out of medical school. They offer to let you see Smith…in 3 months. This place is more a hormone place that wants to sell supplements. I should have listened to the reviews I read. I didn’t. Big mistake.

Not much of an experience. The first time, I never even saw her. Only her assistant. The second time was very brief. She introduced herself, and didn’t really tell me much. The information I recieved all came from her assistant. I was not impressed at all. It seemed like I was “out of place”. The office seemed to be for people with tons of money and if you wasn’t one of those people, u didn’t get that good care. That’s just my opinion. They wrote me a script for synthroid and stated I could not use generic brand but the sample they gave was generic. After the second appointment, I didn’t return.

She listen, and explain what's going on she ask you questions, to find out more about your health. And she answer all of your questions. She gets back with you if you call or her assistant or Nurse will. Her staff is very pleasant, and you are seen in a timelymanner. She is with Optimal Health group the front desk they are pretty busy at time before they can greet you. A few will inform you that they will be right with you. Also if you have an appointment at 8:00am they need to inform you what time they open there doors so you want be thinking they are ignoring you while you are standing outside looking at them not informing you that doors open at 8:00am but she unlocked the about 7:50am so besides that everyone is fine. If your appointments are made at 8am let the client know what time doors open up before they can enter in. Thank you

She listens and she cares. She doesn't just look at the numbers and tell you are fine when you know you feel awful and you have to deal with it everyday. She's changed some medications and made suggestions for lifestyle and diet changes that have worked. Very happy that I switched and started seeing her for diabetes and Hashimotos.
