Dr. Cassandra Ragsdale, MD

Stay away from Dr Ragsdale, when you ask questions, she seems annoyed or as if she is running late. Her lack of time and information could have saved me $$$, she recommended a surgery to me that serve not as a resolution not I am out of pocket $$$ and still in need of a medical solution. Perhaps she a great cosmetic dr at her other job and profession. Clearly being a Gynecologist is not what she is good at nor what she is focused on

Dr. Ragsdale has been my primary gyno for a few years now. I have seen many before her who ignored concerns and never addressed my symptoms. Dr. Ragsdale has always made me feel like my voice was being heard. She has gotten my body through some pretty difficult things, surgery included. I have always felt comforted by her, as well as, appropriately educated/informed about my care. She has a unique way of making you feel just as much apart of your treatment plan as she is. I cannot recommend her enough.

She might have meant well, but at 7 months pregnant and the first time seeing Dr. Ragsdale, she scolded me for being on an antidepressant throughout my pregnancy. She told me my baby would probably end up in the NICU because of this. I had seen multiple other OBGYN’s who told me this medication was fine to continue throughout my pregnancy. No other doctor, nurse, or ANYONE on my team had informed me that I needed to discontinue this med while pregnant. I left the office in tears and couldn’t believe the way she talked down to me. She treated me as if I was addicted to street drugs and was knowingly hurting my unborn baby. I saw in my healthcare file that she wrote that I “declined to wean off medication in 3rd trimester and declined to restart counseling” unbelievable.

I've been seeing Dr.Ragsdale for over 4 years. Previously, I've seen multiple different OBGYNs who either didn't hear my concerns or played them off. Dr.Ragsdale has always listened, has consoled in hard times, and celebrated with us in good times. She always asks if i have questions or concerns and takes time talking through anything to make sure i understand. I feel like i actually have a doctor who i can trust and who truly cares about my health.

I unfortunately am switching who I see as my gynecologist because I never feel like my concerns are met with Dr.Ragsdale. She always seems busy. She's a nice enough person, but not the most effective gynecologist. I have a polyp in my uterus and instead of checking in with me about it and/or examining it to see if it's cancerous, she suggested birth control.

I've had multiple appointments with Dr Ragsdale and she is always in a rush.

One of the most important qualities from an ob/gyn is being heard. It is a lost art in today's fast paced society. I was experiencing severe shooting pain in my abdomen and had been to the ER and was sent home....but I knew something was wrong! I sought out help from my PCP and was sent to Dr Ragsdale. She LISTENED to me, did an exam, had her suspicions, and scheduled immediate exploratory surgery to resolve the issue. If you are looking for an ob/gyn - Dr Ragsdale. KIND and competent !

Dr. Ragsdale did a great job on with pre surgery consultation, the actual surgery and the follow up care. I would recommend her to anyone. She takes the time to listen to all your concerns and questions and thoughtfully explains what to expect while answering all questions. Thanks for your help Dr. Ragsdale.

Dr. Ragsdale is an amazing OB GYN and I would highly recommend her. She was our OB GYN for our first born and will be our provider for future children and wellness exams. She takes the time to listen to your questions and concerns and gives you straight forward answers. She makes you feel comfortable and supported in any decisions you make. If you are looking for an OB GYN, you should set up an appointment with Dr. Ragsdale.

Dr. Ragsdale is awesome! She is patient, kind and very warm and inviting. She has a calming effect on me explaining procedures to be completed that could cause some anxiety. I was amazed at my last appointment when she had completed my pap smear and I didn't feel a thing.

Dr. Ragsdale is very sweet and really listens to what is going on with you. She let's you know what she would like for you to do regarding any problems you may have and really takes time out to make sure that it is working and you are doing alright. I had to have an urgent ultrasound done towards the end of the day and she had no problem seeing me and making sure I was alright with what she had suggested I do.
