Dr. Cassandra Lopez, MD

Dr. Lopez diagnosed a rare disease that my other doctors had missed my whole life. After retiring, I switched to Dr. Lopez because my wife liked her and am so glad I did. She has been very supportive during the many health issues I've had since and is very knowledgeable and professional.

I started seeing Dr. Lopez last year when I switched from Mercy to Swedes. I love her! She listens and shows her concern for you. She is a proactive doctor. I highly recommend her.

She put my life in jeapordy, I could have died with septic blood, and kidney failure. But I got banned. Maybe her liscense should get supsened until she can treat her patients correctly.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Lopez for several years. I was glad to come upon her at the Marengo office and we followed her to the Belvidere location. She is compassionate, listens carefully and accesses the whole person taking into consideration all factors. I have never felt rushed or been given the impression that she wasn't listening to me. Neither of us has ever had to return because of misdiagnosis. Our family highly recommends Dr. Cassandra Lopez she is a great physician.

this is the worst doctor! she will contradict you, get upset because of her own lack of knowledge on Medicine, she's so incompetent!! Any one reading beware, run from her!! i feel sorry for those who have her around all day!!

Contrary to other's comments, I felt like I was listened to and heard, (a rarity these days), cared about, and that Dr. Lopez spent ample time with me. That was one of the reasons I looked for a new Primary Care Physician. She was fine with the fact that I see a lot of specialists for a serious and complex condition, and she asked that I ask all my providers to make sure she gets copies of any test results, findings and diagnoses. I wish I found her years ago.

I wouldn't send anyone I care about to her. I have a hard time believing she has been in practice for 11 yrs,she is so dangerously uninformed. Then there is her intolerance of patients specialists and I won't be able to forget her lack of compassion , rudeness and the fact that when she failed in Marengo IL.,she was simply sent to Belvidere. Run as fast as you can,in the opposite direction,would be my advice

Dr.Lopez is not a personable doctor, she just wants your money. She does not spend much time looking into patient complaints and symptoms to evaluate their medical situation. She is very rude and pushed many of my serious symptoms under the rug. Told me nothing was wrong only to have her do tests and get a call, by the nurse mind you, that something was up and i was to be referred to the cancer center. She doesnt care about her patients and lacks a progressive approach when it is needed.
