Dr. Casey Bougie, MD

She was knowledgeable calm and caring. One of the most competent ER doctor I have ever worked with or have been treated with. I am a retired RN and I’m very pleased that she was my provider dealing with my unusual situation.

My wife went into Bellin Hospital with a bad episode of recurring chronic illness. My wife had a treatment plan from her Doctor for her condition to help get her some relief. Dr Bougie would not even read it and was so rude to my wife. The Dr. sent her out in tears and in worse condition than she came in. Who does that! She should not be employed if her ego is that big and can’t treat people correctly. I’ve never seen anything like this kind of mistreatment. If there were zero stars that’s what she deserves.

I met Doctor B. on Christmas. She clearly did not want to be there or help. She refused to properly review medication history and assumed numerous medications were still being taken and would not listen when we explained otherwise. She explained that she could not treat how to handle the acid in the throat and sent the patient home without a plan. She was not available for follow-up questions and quickly dismissed ideas and concerns the patient had. Making quick judgments with inaccurate information is a poor way to practice being a doctor. She clearly needs more practice. I understand why she was working on Christmas, because her effort and care was deplorable. It's just a shame that she won't be held accountable for her (lack of) actions.

She tells it like it is. She isn’t rude but she won’t sugar coat things either. It did take a while to see her because I went in on a weekend, urgent care wasn’t an option.

Saw Dr Bougie for the little one. I don't see the negative reviews are about (Well, I do. The only people that leave them are unhappy). She was super kind, great with the little one, came up with a comprehensive plan of treatment, one that our PC doc couldn't do. Honest 5 Star Review. Don't always listen to the critics, she is a top rated doctor!! Will see her again and will ask by name!!

Was rude not only to me, but the nurse working with her. Did not listen. Did not take any images that should have been taken. Made me feel as though my symptoms were made up.

Dr. Bougie is the worst doctor i have ever encountered. She is rude, condescending and has the worst bedside manner. She brings nothing but anxiety in the room. I would not recommend her to anyone. She is the cockroach of the medical profession.

She was initially quite rude, did not take the time to listen. She was firm that a treatment the E.R. could offer would be inferior to what a F.P. doctor had already perscribed. By discharge she changed the original F.P. script because it wasn't what the steady course would be in the given situation. I feel like Dr's, especially E.R. doctors, see people at their most vulnerable and she had no bedside manner. Will say by discharge she showed some empathy, just wish there had been a little from the beginning. Everyone has bad/stressful days, maybe this was one for her. It was a busy night.
