I became disenchanted with a large behemoth cardiology practice and found Dr. Benton online. I was impressed with his bio and had my first visit yesterday! Extremely happy! He obviously did his homework, reviewed all of my past cardiac history and knew it better than me. I was most impressed with his engagement. He sat on a stool and faced me the entire time, other than his exam. My other cardiologist spent the entire time with me facing a computer screen. I am one year post aortic valve replacement. Dr. Benton went over my most recent echo and explained my situation very well. I'm delighted to find a cardiologist that actually cares!

He was very patient and listened carefully to my current issues. He was very helpful in getting all my current problems 'on the table' and addressing what I needed to do to best deal with them. I did not feel rushed and was very pleased with his approach and response to all my questions.

Dr. Benton is a gem! Smart, well-informed, helpful and kind! My husband has Afib which they believe led to his stroke. Dr. Benton took the time to explain everything to us, answered our questions about his condition, the medication he is on and the procedure he is going to have. We felt a weight lift off our shoulders after meeting with him. We now have a clear understanding of what is in front of us and what we can best do to get my husband healthy again.
