I was so excited to met a woman doctor and I’m always in awe of woman who are in higher positions. Any position really. Working woman who have put in work to make a living for themselves and their families are the best. But she sneered and gave me such dirty looks. It was really discouraging. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve gotten it from a woman. A lot of woman hate woman.

Dr. Anderson provided excellent insight into monitoring and preventative care for me. I have a gene mutation, and opted for a prophylactic mastectomy. She was both kind and analytical during all of our discussions regarding this. Her bedside manner is fantastic! She is also a FANTASTIC surgeon. I wanted to go flat and have no reconstruction what so ever. She talked me through the details, my concerns, and thoroughly assessed my tolerance for surgery/going flat. I appreciated this because by the end of her questioning, I fully felt that she understood my wishes and that we were on the same page. In the end, she gave me a result that is text book worthy. I did not have a plastic surgeon on my case for my closure and I didn’t need one. Dr. Anderson’s work was truly impeccable. She monitored me after surgery and got me in for drain removal when I needed it. I’d recommend her to anyone needing high risk monitoring or surgical treatment.

Dr. Anderson at Cancer Care is AMAZING! She explains things very well and is very personable, knowledgeable and compassionate. She operated on me for Breast Cancer and I loved her upbeat attitude and caring. My scars looked like a plastic surgeon did them and I had zero pain, not needing any pain meds! I can’t begin to say how much this doctor/surgeon impressed me snd gave me hope going the extra mile to help me through this experience. She’s wonderful!!!
