Horrible Bedside Manner
This was my first time going to an OBGYN. I was not welcomed upon entrance and waited over 45 minutes in the lobby. I was experiencing dysmenorrhea, constant lumbago, and irregular periods. She told me that my pain was 'normal' and was very dismissive of my concerns, even though I have called out of work and school many times. She put me on a contraceptive, which regulated my periods, but the pain continued to persist. As the 15-year-old I was at the time, I inquired about PCOS, to which she laughed at me. The pelvic exam was also painful and very scary, as it was my first time and did not address my anxiety... Rude, condescending, poor bedside mannerism, and overall, not professional. I will not be going back.

I went here for my 1st every gyno appointment. I was not comfortable at all, we didn't even talk first about whether or not i wanted birth control. to boot prescibed a wrong birth control for my body. told me that i looked like my mom (but am not my mom!) again, felt like just a number. Also there is no explaination by the front staff as far as why they make you urinate before your appointment. that should be explained first. Carrie is easy to talk to, however. i may give her another try if i cannot find another gyno.

Amazing experience. Dr. Panoff was not only kind and caring but very professional and explains everything. She puts any anxiety to rest the minute you meet her. I would highly recommend her.

Worst experience of my life. I sat in the room for 40 minutes before she came in. She spoke to me about her son going to Tulane for longer than she spoke to me about what’s going on with my body. I was alone at the OBGYN for the first time (I’m 17) and she gave me absolutely no insight into what she was doing. She was with me for a total of 4 minutes. If I could give her 0 stars for creating the worst doctors appointment a teenage girl could ever have, I would.
