She misdiagnosed me and gave me the wrong medication and wrong information. I would not recommend.

I went to this doctor with a severe medical issue and simply laughed it off like it was no big deal. Then I looked at my medical records and see she intentionally said that I said I did not have the sever medical issue and that another doctor said it was no big deal. She said I said things I never said and put me at risk that my insurance will not cover any expenses. She put me at risk that no other doctor will take my conditions seriously. I would not recommend this doctor. She simply does not care. She misdiagnosed me when I have a life threatening illness.

For years I went to Dr Wood and thought she was a fantastic doctor. However, I was young and naive and made to believe my pain was in my head. I believed her. One day I said "I think I have endometriosis" and she laughed at me. One day I said "the pain during sex is getting unbearable." She said there's nothing she could do and I should see a sex therapist. Years later I was diagnosed with severe Endo and adeno. My adenomyoma wouldn't be so big if she diagnosed me in time. Do not go to her.

Was great until I had progressively worse periods and ended up in the ER due to severe pain, vomiting and unable to stand. ER Dr told me to see Wood within 10 days and couldn't get an appt for 2.5 wks. She was reluctant about laparoscopy and said "even if it IS endo, there's no cure." Went to new Dr and found I have severe endo. Find a dr who listens to u!!

Absolutely recommend Dr. Wood. Moved from NJ and was looking to stay in the Abington System. My sister recommended Dr. Wood and I was not disappointed at all! If you're looking for a gynecologist that is warm, caring and personable, Dr. Wood is the one you need!

I love her she delivered my son. She was very patient and calm. She let me go as long as I could then after pushing many hours and no progression I asked for the c section and she was so sweet to me the whole time knowing I had awful anxiety going in.
