Dr. Caroline Stephens, MD

Dr. Stephens has always taken my concerns seriously, is kind and easy to talk to, and not judgmental. It’s so much easier to get help for medical concerns with a doctor like her, and I’m gutted thinking about needing to find a new doctor as she takes a break for her family.

She has changed practices. She (and 2 other docs) started a NEW concierge Family Practice in Gastonia -called Gaston Family Practice. Basically across the street from her old place. 2550 Court Dr Ste 201 (upper level that faces Cox Rd). Super convenient and super easy to get into see.

Best doctor I have ever been to. Listens to everything I say, works to make sure treatment options work with my individual needs.

My husband and I recently relocated to NC from CA. We took the recommendation of a neighbor and made an appointment with Dr Stephens and couldn’t be happier. We have seen her twice and she always spend a good deal of time discussing our care. She gradually introduced a slight change to our medical regime which she felt would be to our advantage. She worked with us as we made the transition from one med to another. She always answers her messages personally, timely and comments on a personal level that makes you feel she knows exactly who you are and what is going on in your life. What a refreshing change from feeling like an account number or simply a name on a chart. Her referrals for specialists have been wonderful and we couldn’t be happier being under her care and the other members of our medical/surgical team.

Zero stars would be more appropriate. Dr. Stephen’s called my other doctor a fraud without giving any evidence. Instead of advising, she likes making demands. This doctor believes her degree gives her the authority to dictate the lives of others.
