Dr. Caroline Loeb, MD

I saw Caroline Loeb many years ago, 4-5 sessions, for both therapy med management. I needed to schedule an appoint, so I emailed her and called her. No response. Ever. A year or so later, after I starting seeing another psychiatrist, this psychiatrist wanted to talk to her to understand what happened. Caroline had no real answer: "I didn't have any more space for medication management patients and and I think there was an issue with payment". Ok. That 1st part makes no sense. The sessions were 53 minutes long. Would she no longer be able to write a prescription during that time? The most egregious part was ignoring to my request for an appointment x2. And there were no payment issues and she knew it. She charged $350 per session and she collected. She has had years of training in psychoanalysis. I wonder how she thought her patient would feel after opening up about extremely personal and distressful parts of her life, and then getting ghosted by her psychiatrist.
