Dr. Carol Fischer, DO

Again, today. March 5, 2024, I waited for 60 mins before walking out. I have been seeing Dr Fischer for 15 years. Every visit, never fails. I wait from 1 to 2 hours in lobby. I walked out today after waiting 60 mins. I will never go back!!! OUTRAGEOUS! We would encounter a fee of a missed appointment. Our time is very valuable. She should pay us for waiting and missing work.

Dr Fischer and her entire staff are supportive and caring. I switched to her practice last year due to I resolved medical issues. She provided me with the best possible treatment and I’m so thankful I found her and her practice.

Dr. Fischer Is marvelous. She listened to my concerns and symptoms. She diagnosed me when I had been having trouble getting help before. She is so caring and gentle. I would definitely recommend her for any menopause problems.

I highly recommend Dr. Fischer! I feel very comfortable under her care - I myself work in the medical community alongside many medical professionals (not associated w/Dr. Fischer) and can say Dr. Fischer is professional with an approachable personality, but more importantly knowledgable & experienced in her area of expertise. You can feel that she knows what she is doing. She is one of VERY few gynos that accepts active duty military insurance (Tricare), and I'm thankful she does. She's performed 2 of my surgeries within 15 months of each other, one being a major overnight hospital stay. Each time I've had a successful recovery and minimal physical scaring. I've read other comments about long wait times for appointments, but honestly it is no different than ANY other Dr. Appointment I go to. Her staff is equally amazing. Kim is always helpful & extremely proficient in running the show for Doc to operate efficiently.

Dr. Fischer saved my life. I Called her office after a long menstrual cycle lasting around four months. They took me when no one else would. The staff was absolutely fantastic about getting me in ASAP. I needed immediate care, I was severely anemic and lost half the blood in my body. If I waited for other offices to get me in, I believe I would’ve died. She was the best!!! Not only did she have great compassion for me, she wanted me better as much as I did. She took every precaution, treated me so delicately and finally solved my problem. She saved my life. I am now building my strength and am very, very grateful that I was lead to her. It was true devine intervention. I want all of the women in my life to go to her. My husband calls her “his hero”. Thank you Dr. Fischer!!!!

Dr Fisher, herself, seemed very caring and personable. but my issues were the incredibly long wait time for a scheduled appointment along with how my matter was handled by a member of her staff. after waiting over an hour & a half to hear the results of my bloodwork, I had to reschedule b/c the dr had to go to a delivery; which I 100% understand happens. But, while in the middle of the waiting room, the office girl trying to reschedule me blurts out that, quiet loudly I am infertile and need to have procedures done! I found that very rude to be saying in front of other people! Also, hearing that for the first time (never knew my blood work results) I was devastated & embarrassed, naturally! seemed pretty unprofessional and handled poorly.

After having a horrible experience with another physician, I was referred to Dr. Fischer by my Family Physician. I was apprehensive, as I was very sick and 2 months out from a previous surgery. Upon my first visit, Dr Fischer and her staff made me very comfortable, were extremely sympathetic and truly cared about what I had gone through. Dr. Fischer, was up and beyond thorough with my history, getting my test results, previous surgical report and compassionate when she explained that because of my age and history, the previous doctor should have performed a biopsy- routine at my age- but since he had not, and had already excised an ovary- I was scared. Dr. Fischer was extremely empathetic and re-assuring. She was also expedient to have all my testing done in a timely manor as I was in severe pain. On the day of my surgery, from the surgical pre-op team right down to Dr. Fischer discussing and explaining what she was doing, I felt very relaxed and confident I was in good hands.

I had a tubal performed by Dr. Fischer and she could not have been nicer and more attentive in answering my questions and addressing any concerns I had.

Dr. Fischer is one of the VERY few doctors we found to accept our military insurance (Humana Military) and who was able to fit us in as we didn’t like our first OB. First off her staff at her clinic is absolutely phenomenal. As for Doctor Fischer she’s very personable and she really cares about how you’re doing. I’m a first time Mom, and she was very reassuring, knowledgeable, and made me very relaxed. If we’re in the area for our next child we will definitely be with Dr. Fischer!

Dr.Fischer and her staff is amazing I would recommend any woman need surgery or having a baby or needs to check on there health Dr. Fischer rocks and her staff rocks as well Kim Amy and Lisa are so professional

Dr Fischer was great in letting me know what to expect for a hysterectomy. She gave me opinions and explained them to me and recommended which one would be best for me. I had my surgery June 6th robotically, never had surgery so didnt know how I was going to feel. The next day to go home had no pain. Thinking because I still had pain meds in me. The next day no pain still, just didnt lift anything, 4 days later I went into work drove myself! I want to how great and more but this wont let me! ??
