dr Cox SHOULD retire. She has the WORST bedside manner I have ever experienced and I’ve been to many many drs since my son sustained a brain injury. Very cold with my mother. When I reread that she was a geriatric dr I laughed - she’s old when she requires care she will get a taste of her own medicine. May the Lord have mercy on her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carol Cox since approximately 1990. She has treated me for a variety of internal and age related issues during this time frame, including some that were life threatening. She will be retiring in the near future, and will be missed by her patients. I wish her the best in enjoying her retirement.

Please think twice about seeing this doctor. I brought my 85-year old disabled friend there yesterday for her first appt. with Dr. Cox. The receptionist totally ignored us when we approached the desk. She was rude when we tried to check in. But that was nothing compared to the way my friend was treated by the doctor when she finally got called (1 hour and 15 minutes after her scheduled appt.). They left her sitting -naked- in the waiting room for almost an hour! *Won't let me type anymore.

I would rate no stars. My mother has been complaining of pain for months and Dr Cox ordered physical therapy and exercise. My mother is now lying in a hospital bed. They found a mass in her breast and cancer has spread. You should have ruled out everything before making her persist in physical therapy even when she said it was getting worse.

Dr. Cox is very thorough. She is not "warm and fuzzy", but she is careful to get all information correct. In looking for a primary care doctor, I'm not looking for a personal friend but for a good physician. I think Dr. Cox meets that criterion. The other thing I like is that Dr. Cox, being a solo practitioner, spends whatever amount of time she feels is necessary with me. She isn't under pressure to be in and out in under 5 minutes.
