Dr. Carmen Carneiro-Rojas, MD

I emailed Dr. Carneiro-Rojas and included an image of a growth that I had on my toe. I asked for a referral to a podiatrist. She responded saying it was a corn and no referral would be given. I had explained that I do not wear tight shoes and it was growing and hurting. No referral was growing. Two days later it burst. I emailed her back letting her know that I didn't think corns burst and released a gel substance. I want to be seen and I want to know what is on my toe. She still hasn't responded. This is an on-going issue with her. I am ready to change doctors. I didn't think it was up to your doctor to dictate what you need...the patient has a right to what they are requesting. That is why I pay into my health insurance.

Very helpful with diabetes, neuropathy, and skin problems. Knowledgeable about every question I had. Very patient and has a kind manner.

For my Spanish speaking family I would recommend her in a heart beat. I don't speak Spanish but I think she is great. She takes the time to listen and while you may not like what she is saying, she provides good information and is aware of the latest developments.

I am appalled by Dr. Carneiro-Rojas' bedside manner. I was treated like an inconvenience that she didn't feel like dealing with. If a patient goes through the process of arranging a visit to the doctor's office, perhaps they are not simple there for kicks-and-giggles. The sheer incompetence with which she proceeded to diagnose me resulted in a waisted visit--allergies, really? The Doctor did not know of an anatomical structure located in the neck/ear region--very frightening.
