Dr. Carmen Andux, MD

One of the worst experiences I have had with a medical professional in thirty years. She continually dismissed my attempts to clarify events in my medical history when some of her observations about my current physical state confused me, told me to help control my weight that even if I felt I like I was 'starving' - a direct quote - I needed simply resist and not eat, and then aggressively verbally berated me for looking at my phone (I was attempting to keep a relative with medical knowledge informed of the situation), and even demanded I repeat back what she had just said to me to 'prove' I was paying attention, then tried to deflect from her behavior by going on a rant about how she's 'worse at home' with her own child when it comes to reprimands and how phone are distracting everyone these days. I felt utterly unheard and insulted and I called the very next day to switch MDs. I would avoid this 'professional' unless you want to be treated like a toddler.
