Dr. Carlos Victorica, MD

I called for an appointment but was told that since I have not seen Dr Victorica in over three years I was considered a new patient and he is not taking new patients. I have seen his Nurse Practitioner many times because Dr Victorica had no appointments available for 3 months. I was happy to see her again but I was told no go. This is a total failure on their part.

Dr. Victorica is a decent doctor who recommended me to another doctor for diabetic specialty care, but when I heard the other doctors name I flatly refused to see that doctor. I'm not saying the gender or name for legal reasons, so bare with me. When I asked for someone else, I was refused and one week later I got a 'do not come here again' letter from Dr. Victorica's office with his signature. I was upset. What did my refusal of that other doctor have to do with Dr. Victorica providing primary care for me? Needless to say the other doctor is no longer practicing medicine, so I guess I wasn't the only one who did care for the type of care they got. As for Dr. Victorica, my wife really enjoyed her care with him, but guess what...he dropped her too. She had nothing to do with my case and was happy with the doctor. So word to the wise, find someone who isn't thin skinned.

Whenever I call, for a question or appointment, the phone always goes to voicemail. The recording says that will get right back to you but they never do. I've called three days in a row and got no call back. The fourth day they called my home phone instead of the cell number I left on EVERY message. If I can't get thru to my doctor then it's like having not doctor at all.

Dr Victorica takes his time and is very thorough and caring

My parents had the same dr for over 30 years, and unfortunately, he retired. We were desperate as a family to find a dr that was as smart and caring as Dr. Weiner. Because We had a awful , terrible experience with a hospitalist at Boca Hospital when my mom was sick. It was a real difficult time. It made us fearful of Doctors. When we found Dr. Victorica, it was a relief. Dr. Victorica is kind and very understanding. He listens to my 92 year old dad's concerns and takes time with him. He is smart and takes time for our questions, and didn't rush us out the door. In this day and age, he is a rare find. Thank you, Dr. Victorica. My siblings and I are so grateful for you taking care of our Dad.

I LOVE Dr. V. He is so thorough, so kind and so empathetic. Did I say brilliant? Well, he is that also. He spent a lot of time with me, and with my husband, going over our histories, what we need to do right away, what can be done in time. I really feel like I am in the best of hands.

Now in Boca Raton, FL. Had a great first appointment; on time, not rushed at all, and he listened and answered all of my questions. Took the time needed to develop a game plan. Highly recommend.
