Dr. Carlos Sobral, MD

I see Dr Sobral for annual physicals. So far he has been fine for normal exams. Long wait times on the phone for appointments and seem to be booked out a couple months concerning me if I have a more pressing concern. Makes me discouraged to call unless I think it’s something very serious and then may take too long. Staff could be friendlier and give better instructions.

I arranged for my son to see Dr. Sobral, right after he aged out of his pediatrician and the first appointment was OK. On his second appointment the doctor was out sick, which I understand can happen sometimes. My son rescheduled the appointment for a few months later. For that appointment, when my son arrived, the staff told him the doctor was not there and had no explanation for why he wasn’t in the office. There was no phone call from the office ahead of time to let him know. The whole experience strange, and unprofessional. We won’t be seeing Dr Sobral again.

Dr. Sobral is a warm and good doctor to his patients, but I think he is not that great. He's been my doctor from 2018 to 2021 and I am so dissapointed that he haven't diagnosed me correctly till my kidney got worst. Since 2018 there is already a red flag in my urine test (heavy proteinuria) but he doesn't told me anything about it (maybe because my egfr is still in >60) but over the years the proteinuria get worst and egfr is deteriorating but still >60). Now Im in stage 3b ckd, and become more aware now of my labtest and looking back with those years I am still with Dr. Sobral he don't mention anything about the heavy protein in my urine but he mention a bit about a blood in my urine but he never refer me to specialist like nephrologist to checked it further. If he only did that, I should have been warned earlier and might have save my kidney not to get that worst.

Made an appointment here after I came down here to convalesce after being released from a hospital up north. This practice said they take MediCal. Went there for the appointment to have a check up and get referrals to a couple specialist to move forward with recovery. When we were checking in for the appointment they said they won't bill MediCal because they never get paid by the state but I could pay cash for the appointment. Okay so I paid cash we were there for the appointment after all (would have been nice for them to say from the beginning that they don't take MediCal though). Dr. Carlos did not do much during the check up just poked around and made copies of my medical records and scolded me. When the appointment was over and I was checking out, I was told they couldn't refer me to any specialist because I paid CASH. THAT'S THE WHOLE REASON I WENT THERE! TO GET REFERRED TO A COUPLE SPECIALIST! If paying cash does not enable you to get referred to a specialist then why tak

The Doctor is great his staff is awful

Dt. Sobral, more specifically Cadeuceus Medical Group, is one of the most kind doctors I have ever had the pleasure to be his patient. He is gentle, patient and always willing to see me at the last minute. He takes the time to answer my questions, no matter how insignificant they be to someone not in the medical profession. I have injured my knee and am able to get a same day appointment for excruciating pain I have been experiencing for several days now. I highly recommend Dr. Sobral and Caduceus Medical Group.

Dr. Sobrol was most attentive to me and my concerns when I went to Urgent care. He did not rush me along, took his time explaining how the body works with my area of pain. The Urgent care at Caduceus in Yorba Linda was friendly and helpful making my visit pleasant. I would go there again if needed.

I really love Dr. Sobral. He is a thorough, compassionate, kind Dr. that will take his time with you. I am sad to leave him. However, my dislike for Caduceus Medical group is so high that I’m looking for a new doctor. In fairness, the girls in the office are great, but the way the medical group functions I feel as if I’m dealing with a Dr. Seuss/Micky Mouse operation. The left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. There are 5 different #s but no one picks up, and auths are hard to come by

I have never been to such a comprehensive, thorough, caring doctor in my life. He actually sits down with you and thoroughly discusses your lab results, treatments, medications, and answers all questions. I'm so glad I found him; I couldn't be happier with his services.
